Text looks good and fits in to the website well looks very reliable and can easily establish the difference between where the article starts and ends.

Article looks trust worthy and reliable, the advertisement relates to the article yet they haven't over used advertisements which could make it look fake or “tacky”

The article Facebook: Mobile Advertising Goes Social Gives readers a good understanding on how Facebook has changed the way advertisers try to communicate with past and present customers. It also shows the new techniques that need to be applied to allow interaction with customers on a branding or customer-service level.

Facebook gave companies the ability to interact with customers on a branding or a customer service level allowing them to communicate through the social media.

Focus on building brand identity relationships with consumers instead of using Facebook only as a means for advertisement

“People don’t go to Facebook to shop. They go to hang out and chat with their friends.” (Lyne, Chairman of the luxury

shopping website Gilt)

“Selling things on Facebook is like selling things in a bar.” (Lyne, Chairman of the

luxury shopping website Gilt)

An example of the similarity would be if you're in a pub with someone you don't know you're more likely to be able to communicate with them by buying the customer a beer and chatting at the same level as their friends and building up a slow relationship compared to standing out from the crowd and shouting your main points out.

A new use of app downloads are now being regularly used by Facebook which will let the customer click and download the relevant advertisement application straight from the app store which is being used widely across all mobile systems such as apple, android, Google pay which opens up the application's to a wider variety of mobile users.

Now that advertisements can be used on a mobile system it is more likely this will develop in other ways yet the barrier is still there that the customer doesn’t have to download the app, or visit the advertisement.

- This is an article from the 8th November informing readers of Starbucks new convergence with Square Wallet, a mobile app that allows you to connect your bankcards to your phone and then pay for things in the US.- The app works with iOS and Android phones and Starbucks has enabled it to work with all 7,000 stores in operation. - The article uses quotes from a Starbucks executive to give real statistics on how this new application was received by customers. E.g. “100 million mobile transactions since its launch”- The article could be more detailed and go into more depth as to what Square Wallet is and how this will help Starbucks as a brand in the long run, however this could be difficult to do without being too presumptuous.

“Like The US Electorate, mobile is divided between the have and the have-nots” “The 2012 US election is being called the closest race for 50 years – and, like any election fought on the media stage, the final result may just come down to a question of publicity.”This article is modern and up-to-date by using recent, globally relevant events, in order to discuss the increase in mobile marketing and it’s potentials. The US global elections was an event that was discussed globally over Social Network sites, allowing users to press their opinions and debate, this is a strong article because it is not biased and doesn’t focus on the opinions of voters, but has interesting descriptions of what would influence them within the world of social media. This article was written only 6 days ago by Kirsty Styles in order to discuss the impact that mobile apps and Social Media had upon the 2012 US Presidential Elections, using a variety of up-to-date statistics surrounding the topic: “1 in 75 donated, therefore 4 million donated and 10% came from mobile donations.” This article even speaks about, due to the popularity of mobiles and social networking within society, the potential to use mobile polling in the future and additionally gives information concerning all of the YouTube campaigns that were made. But if this remote voting goes smoothly, without security glitches, this could open up the possibility of mobile voting, which was favoured by 60 per cent of US smartphone and tablet owners polled by Stitch. 20 per cent of UK adults also said they were more likely to vote in our last general election if they could do so via text or a dedicated app on their phone.
