Galer MMI Survey i
SummaryA soil survey was completed over a part of the Galer Lake Fault Property in Alma Township during the summer of 2006. Twenty six soil samples were collected along 3 transects over magnetic lows and the interpreted extension of the Galer Lake Fault. The samples were analysed for 44 elements—by SGS Canada Inc. Minerals Services—using the Mobile Metal Ions Technology.
The area bedrock is prospective for gold ± copper/uranium/molybdenum deposits and is mostly unexplored due to extensive overburden cover. The soil survey was designed as a follow up to a preliminary MMI survey completed in 2005. The objective was to outline geochemical signatures in soils overlying possible sub cropping metal deposits.
Low to moderate contrast copper and uranium soil anomalies were delineated by the survey and are an indication of underlying bedrock metal enrichment. Follow up MMI soil sampling should be completed over the entire property before a program of IP surveying, stripping and drilling is implemented.

Galer MMI Survey 1
Introductionoil sampling and analysis were completed during the summer of 2006 with twenty six samples collected along three transects on one claim in Alma
Twp., Ontario. The samples were analyzed by SGS Minerals Services of Toronto using the Mobile Metal Ion Technology (MMI). The objective of the survey was to detect and delineate geochemical signatures in soil overlying undiscovered overburden covered orebodies using the MMI technology in a geological setting favourable for Au, Cu, Mo, U mineral deposits.
s
PropertyThe property is a group of 3 claims comprised of 35 units and with an area of 560 hectares and referred to as the Galer Lake Fault Property.
The claim #'s are: 3009997, 4210197, 4210198.

Galer MMI Survey 2
Location and AccessThe property is located in eastern Alma Twp., 14 kilometres NE of the town of Matachewan, in the Larder Lake Mining Division of Ontario.
Access to the property is by truck from Hwy 66 northward along the Separation Lake access road. The sample areas are reached by ATV along old logging roads and trails and then by foot through bush.

GeologyRegional GeologyThe Matachewan area is composed of Archean metavolcanic, metasedimentary and intrusive rocks which are part of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The Alma and Cairo Township area is underlain by tholiitic flows of the Kinojevis group and calc-alkaline flows and pyroclastic rocks of the Blake River Group. Archean sedimentary rocks unconformibly overlie the volcanic rocks. This volcano-sedimentary assemblage is intruded by Archean mafic sills, dikes and felsic intrusions. Proterozoic sedimentary rocks of the Huronian Group unconformibly overlie the Archean rocks.
Galer MMI Survey 3
Numerous north-south faults cut across the region and many have been intruded by diabase dikes. The Galer Lake Fault, a major fault zone, trends west-south-west across the property and may be a splay off the Larder Lake Break.Property GeologyThe Galer Lake Property is underalin by syenite porphyry of the Cairo Stock. North trending Matachewan diabase dikes intrude the syenite.. The Galer Lake Fault strikes west-south-west through Alma and Cairo Twps. A gold bearing boulder—28.4 g/t—was discovered 200 metres south of the Galer Lake Fault by INCO.
Current WorkMMI Soil Geochemical SurveyThe soil samples were collected along lines LG0, LG1E, and LG9E by T. Link on June 18 and July 3, 2006. The lines were laid out N-S by compass and measured by hip chain with 25 metre stations flagged with ribbon and marked with line and station coordinates. The location of each line was referenced to the UTM grid by Garmin GPS. The soil samples were collected at the 25m stations with the sample assay numbers being the same as the station coordinates. The sample locations are shown on the Galer Lake Fault Compilation Maps in Appendix A. A total of 26 soil samples—weighing 300 to 400 grams per sample—were collected using a dutch auger at a depth between 15 and 30 cm below the bottom of the living organics. The samples were placed in plastic bags on site without preparation and were submitted to SGS Minerals for analysis on July 5, 2006. Sample descriptions including location, depth and soil type are presented in Appendix A.
The MMI analysis measures the metal ions from mineralization that have moved toward the surface and attached loosely to the surface of soil particles. The samples collected were analyzed by SGS Minerals for 44 elements using the MMI-M package. The elements reported are: Ag, Al, As, Au, Ba, Bi, Ca, Cd, Ce, Co, Cu, Dy, Er, Eu, Fe, Gd, La, Li, Mg, Mo, Nb, Nd, Ni, Pb, Pd, Pr, Rb, Sb, Sc, Sm, Sn, Sr, Ta, Tb, Te, Th, Ti, Tl, U, W, Y, Yb, Zn and Zr. The MMI analysis data is shown on SGS Minerals certificate of analysis work order 089613 in Appendix A.Data Treatment and PresentationData treatment and presentation follows the methods recommended for MMI data.
Any data that is less than the lower limit of determination(<LLD) has been replaced with a value one-half of the LLD for statistical calculations and graphical representation.
Galer MMI Survey 4
The raw data background value for an element is the arithmetic mean of the lower quartile of the raw data for that element. The background was calculated using raw data from transects covered in this report and data from GLB1W, GLB2E, LG1W, and LG2W(previous report). Raw data background values were calculated for selected elements and are as follows:
Element Raw data backgroundAu 0.05 ppbCu 96 ppbMo 2.5 ppbU 3.5 ppb
The response ratio(RR) was calculated by dividing the raw value for the element at each site by the raw data background value for that element. The RR background is always 1.
Results for selected elements are graphically depicted in the associated charts in Appendix A. Gold, copper, molybdenum and uranium data were chosen for graphical presentation and were selected based on the following:
— the property is a gold prospect— copper and molybdenum are associated with gold occurences in the area— uranium responses correlated with copper, molybdenum and gold responses
in a previous surveyResponse ratios are presented as multi-element bar charts for Au, Cu, Mo, U
with one chart for each line—LG0, LG1E, LG9E. Also one bar chart shows the Au, Cu, Mo, U response ratios for all lines—LG0, LG1E, LG9E, GLB1W, GLB2E, LG2W, and LG1W. All charts are in Appendix A.
For the purpose of interpretation of results the following rating system is used based on other MMI studies and surveys —primarily gold—done in similar glaciated terrain with shallow overburden cover.
— a response ratio of 5 to 20 times background is a low contrast anomalous response
— a response ratio between 20 and 50 times background is a moderate contrast anomalous response
— a response ratio greater than 50 times background is a high contrast response
ResultsCoincident low to moderate contrast copper and uranium soil anomalies were identified by the survey and are an indication of underlying bedrock metal enrichment.
Galer MMI Survey 5
The response ratios above background for line LG0 are:
Location Element Response Ratio RatingLG0/300N Cu 7 low
U 27 moderate275N Cu 8 low
U 18 low250N Cu 9 low
U 7 low150N U 7 low125N U 5 low
The response ratios above background for line LG9E are:
Location Element Response Ratio RatingLG9E/350N U 21 moderate
Conclusions and RecommendationsThe low to moderate contrast Cu and U anomalies suggest underlying metal enrichment. The results from this MMI program are lower than results from the 2005 MMI program to the west which had response ratios to 2o for Au, 33 for Cu, 8 for MO, and 127 for U. Deeper overburden and drier soil are present in the area of this sampling program and have reduced the movement of ions to the surface, resulting in lower MMI responses.
MMI soil sampling should be completed over the entire property, followed by IP surveying and diamond drilling.
