OVERVIEW OF MSP’S HOME SCREEN

1. Customer Information - Touch here to access your customer list or to add a new customer.

2. Estimator Information - Touch here to set up your name and sales number the way you want it to appear on yourestimates and orders. This only has to be done one time.

3. Job Address - Touch here once a customer is selected to access the customer’s job address or to add a new job.

4. Review Take-Off - Touch here to review your take-off and to set and adjust pricing if applicable.

5. Reports - Touch here to see your graphic estimate or order. This is also where you will go to upload your ordersor to email it to a customer.

6. Product Information - Touch here to access product information, latest news, pictures and selling features.

TIP - The onlyrequired informationis the customer #and customer name.All other is optional.

TIP - To select anexisting customer,simply touch to theleft of the customername and a bluecheck mark willappear activating thechosen customer.

1. Touch the Customer Information bar on the home screen to reveal your current customer list.

2. In the Customer list view touch the “Tap here to add new customer” bar or you may also touch the (+) addbutton in the bottom menu bar to add a customer. To select an existing customer, simply touch to the left of thecustomer name and a blue check mark will appear showing to one you have chosen.

3. To add a new customer’s information, touch the top blank entry field and begin entering in the desiredinformation. *Note- A customer # and name is required. If you know the customer’s account number you mayuse it or you can simply make up a number. Customer numbers may not be duplicated.

4. Once the customer information has been entered touch the save button.

5. You will now see that Grand View Homes has a blue check mark next to it showing that it has beenadded to your customer list and is now activated.

HOW TO SET UP THE ESTIMATOR INFORMATION

1. Touch the Estimator Information bar on the home screen to set up the salesperson’s ID# and name as you wish itto appear on all takeoffs, quotes and orders.

2. In the Estimator list view, touch the “Tap here to add new estimator” bar to add your information.

3. Touch a blank entry field to begin entering the appropriate salesperson information. *You must type in a sales IDnumber as well as your name.

4. Once the estimator information is entered you must touch the save button to accept.

5. Your information is now saved. Hit the back button to return to the home screen.

Note: This only needs to be done on initial set up. Once done, it will remain for all take-offs.

1. Touch the Customer Information bar on the home screen to bring up your Customer List.

2. Select the customer you wish to work with by touching just to the left of their name. A blue check mark will appear toindicate they are now activated.

3. Once selected, the circle to the right of the customer’s name will turn green. The 0 means there are currently no jobs setup for this customer. Touching the green circle will take you directly to the Job screen. You may also go to the Jobscreen by selecting Job Address from the Home screen.

4. Once in the Job screen, touch the “Tap here to add new job” bar. This will take you directly to the Job Details screen.

5. This is where you will setup the actual job site address. Begin by simply touching the top blank address fieldand start typing. You may put in as much or as little information as your company or customer requires.

6. Once done and saved, your job address will appear like this.

Tip - Don’t forget to save theaddress information.

Tip - If your customer requiresa PO on their orders, you shouldput it here.

Tip - You can enter an overallprofit margin you whish to makehere. It can be edited later.

1. From the home screen touch the Review Take-Off bar and it will reveal all of the jobs for the activated customer. Select the job address you wish to review.

2. This will bring you to the Product Totals screen. Here you will see the total cost and selling price for the job. You will also see theoverall default profit margin that was previously set.

3. To change the job’s overall profit margin, swipe left across the margin bar and touch Change.

4. Type in the new desired profit margin for the job and touch save.

5. You will now see that the job’s overall profit margin has been changed.

6. To review the job’s individual products, pricing and margins, touch the Edit button on the bottom action bar.

7-8. To edit an individual product’s margin, swipe left across the product’s bar to reveal the green Margin button.Touch the green Margin button to reveal the individual product Margin Editor.

9. Type in the new desired margin and touch Save. All other product margins will remain the same.

HOW TO USE THE REPORTS FUNCTION

1. You can use MSP’s “Reports” function in two ways. One is to simply view how the graphic report looks and check itfor accuracy. The other is to upload or email the take-off. (See Pages 13-14) To do this touch the Reports bar onthe home screen.

2. Next, In the Job Reports screen choose the job address you want to view.

3. Touching the desired job address reveals the “Set Ship Details” box. If you are not ready to upload your take-off as anorder and simply want to review it for proper details and accuracy, touch the “Later” button. If you are ready toupload your take-off as an order, set your desired ship date and touch “OK”. This will also allow you to review yourtake-off before uploading it as an order.

4. Touching “Later” or “OK” will reveal your graphic Stair Report.

5. If your graphic stair report is longer than one page, simply use your finger to scroll through all pages to reachthe bottom page with your total. Use your fingers to zoom in and out by pinching the screen.

6. You may also view your report larger in landscape mode by turning your device horizontally.

Tip - Touch theicon on the action barat the bottom of thescreen at anytime toreturn directly to thehome screen’s mainmenu.

USING THE PRODUCT INFORMATION FEATURE

1. Touch the product information bar on the home screen. This is where you can access the Product Information menuscreen.

2. In the Product Information menu screen you will see the subject areas that you may access. Simply touch thesubject bar to take you to the information yo desire.

3. Here you will find helpful information such as our Buyer’s Guide, New Product information, News, Specials etc. Theinformation contained here will be constantly expanded, evolving and updated to help you promote and sell WMCoffman stair parts.

4. Another great feature of the product information function is you can email your customer a copy of the page rightfrom MSP. On the bottom action bar you will see an email icon. Touch that and it will open up your mailservice with the product information page loaded as an attachment.

ACCOUNT SIGN IN AND SETTINGS BUTTON

1. On the action bar of the Main screen touch the Account Gear Icon to go to the Account screen.

2. In the Account screen, sign in with your user name and password to get started. Once you have signed in you will not have to dothis again. On this screen you can see what group you are with and the MSP version you are using. Touch the Back Icon to returnto the main menu.

3. Next touch the Settings i Icon to go to the MSP Settings screen and setup your company’s information.

4. Touch the blank fields to add your company’s name, address and phone numbers the way you want them to appear on the graphicreports. To add your company’s logo onto the graphic report for a more professional presentation, touch the Import button on thefar right of the Logo space. This will take you to your mobile device’s internal camera roll. Simply choose a J-Peg or PNG of yourlogo and it will be added above your company’s name on the graphic report. The lower half of the screen is where you enterdiscounts off list price if not previously set. You may also apply the overall default profit margin you wish to make whichmay be modified later in “Review Take-Off”. Finally, you will want to type in any applicable tax rates.

5. You may set your company’s terms to appear on the graphic reports as well. Simply touch the Terms Icon on theaction bar. 6. You may now select pre-set payment terms or add your own. Don’t forget to save your work!

UNDERSTANDING ACTION BUTTONS

▪ Account - Seen on the main menu and will bring you to your accountlogin screen.

▪ Back - This will jump you back 1 screen each time it is pushed.

▪ Settings - Brings you to the MSP settings screen where you can setup all—-required company information.

▪ Login - Used to login to your MSP account.

▪ Delete - Used for various delete functions such as addingcustomers, job addresses, products etc.

▪ Add - Used for various add functions such as addingcustomers, job addresses, products etc.

▪ Main - This button will jump you back to the main menu when it ispushed.

▪ Clear - Will clear any data in fields when pressed.

▪ Save - Press this to save data such as customers, job addresses,special products, etc.

▪ Edit - Use the edit button to delete, edit or archive a job.

▪ Email - When pressed it will send either the MVP report or the productinformation pages as an attachment in your mail server.

i Tip - Disregard the stairmeasurements at this time.This will be used in excitingupcoming versions that willmake MSP even better!

1. With your customer already selected, touch the Job Address bar to see the customer’s jobs.

2. All of the customer’s jobs will be listed here. To begin your take-off, touch the green T-O take-off button.

3. You are now on the Takeoff Location screen. This screen allows you to set a location name for your stair when there is more thanone stairway in the project. The default location of “Main” is already set. If you only have one stairway, there is no need to typeanything. Simply touch the green Opt options button to begin selecting your options. You may touch the “Tap here to add newlocation” bar and type in a location name for an additional stairway.

4. Touching the green Options button brings you to the main “Stair Parts Options” screen. To get the full benefit of MSP’s filteringcapabilities, always start with “Stringer Style” which is the top bar on the screen and follow down the screen in the order shown.

5. Touching the Stringer Style button will drop down the Stringer Style options and filter which allows you to define the type of stairyou are working on and begins to filter part options for that type of stair. Touch Stringer Style on the drop down and select from 3options. “All” which will not filter any parts, “Closed” which will filter parts for a closed stair or “Open” which will filterparts for an open stair. Here we are choosing “Open”. *Be sure to save your choices as you go.

6-7. Next touch the Rail Style button to further define your stair as “Post to Post”, “Over the Post” or “Any”. Herewe are choosing “Post to Post”. You are now ready to select your parts. Begin with “Baluster Style”.

1. You may now start selecting your stair components beginning with Balusters. Touch the “Baluster Style” bar to open the balusteroptions screen.

2. On this screen you will see a drop down filter that allows you to narrow your baluster options. The filter for all components is- located just to the left of the search field. You may engage the filter at any time by touching here. (See arrow #2)

3. Using the filter, select the “Type”, “Width” and “Species or Finish” that you want from their corresponding drop down options.*Note - The search field may be used at any time to narrow options by simply beginning to type the product number or description.

4. In this example we have chosen to filter for Iron, 1/2” and Antique Bronze balusters. Touch the Save button to save your choices.

5. Upon saving your choices you will now see only the baluster styles that you need. Use your finger to scroll left and right to see alloptions. *Note - Turning your device to the landscape position will allow you to see more options on the screen as you go.

6. Simply touch the picture of each baluster you need and it will pop up big on the screen.

7. Now enter the amount you need by touching the quantity field and typing in the amount. * Don’t forget to save!Now touch the Back icon on top or bottom of the screen to return to the Stair Part Options screen andcontinue to the next component which is Handrail. Page 11

1. You may now start selecting your next component which is Handrail. Touch the “Handrail Profile” bar to open the Handrail optionsscreen.

2. On this screen you will see a complete handrail offering. To narrow your options, touch the drop down filter. (See arrow #2)

3. Using the filter, select the “Species” and “Profile” that you want from their corresponding drop down options. (*Notice the filtershows that you previously selected Iron Balusters. This logic filters out all plowed rail options that don’t work with Iron.) When done,touch the Save button to save your choices.

4. Upon saving your choices in this example, you will now see only Red Oak 6210 Profile options to pick from. Use your finger toscroll up and down to see all options. Here we are choosing 6210 - 12’ Red Oak Engineered Handrail by touching the picture anddescription bar.

5. The chosen handrail pops up big on the screen. Simply enter the amount of 12’ pieces needed and touch save.

6. Now touch the Back icon on top or bottom of the screen to return to the Stair Part Options screen andcontinue to the next component which is Newel Posts. Follow this same process throughout the take-off untilfinished. Each choice made promotes logic that filters out potential wrong choices. You will now see the selectedcomponent products, quantities and prices conveniently shown on the Stair Part Options screen.

CHECKING THE GRAPHIC REPORT AND EMAILING

1. You can use MSP’s “Reports” function in two ways. One is to simply view how the graphic report looks and check it for accuracy.The other is to upload or email the take-off. To do this touch the Reports bar on the home screen.

2. Next, In the Job Reports screen choose the job address you want to view.

3. Touching the desired job address reveals the “Set Ship Details” box. If you are not ready to upload your take-off as an order andsimply want to review it and email it to your customer for approval, touch the “Later” button.

4. Touching “Later” reveals your graphic Stair Report, which you should always review for accuracy. If your graphic stair report islonger than one page, simply use your finger to scroll through all pages to reach the bottom. Use your fingers to zoom in and outor turn your device horizontally for a larger view.

5. After reviewing, touch the Email icon on the action bar to automatically attach a PDF copy of your graphic take-off- and take you to the email screen.

6. MSP’s email screen will be auto populated with the customer’s name and address along with your name and your- company’s name at the bottom of the email. Simply start typing in your customer’s email address and MSP will- automatically pick up any saved email addresses. You may edit the subject or any other part of the email if you- wish before sending. When ready, touch Send.

First, set your desired ship date to your builder customer. Next, touch either “Dealer” or “Job Site”. This tells WMCoffman where to deliver the stair parts package. Finally, touch the “OK” button and your graphic report will be revealedcontaining all of the necessary shipping information.

4. Touching “OK” reveals your graphic Stair Report, which you should always review for accuracy. Check to make sure all shippinginformation is accurate. If your graphic stair report is longer than one page, simply use your finger to scroll through all pages toreach the bottom. Use your fingers to zoom in and out or turn your device horizontally for a larger view.

5. After reviewing, touch the “Upload” button on the top far right of the action bar to send in your take-off as an order.-
