O P T I O N S
A. An Axle Adapter allows the feet to move via hand drive action (for use withHand Drive Mobility Aid Trikes only)
B. Foot Harnesses attach to the pedals and provide neutral foot control in asandal-like design. The Foot Harnesses can be used with the Mobility AidTrike, or can be used to provide foot positioning on other trikes or wheelchairplates. Come standard with ankle, heel, and toe straps, Velcro® fasteners, andfoot pad with attachment hardware.
C. Hand/Wrist Positioning Straps can be used for children who need helpkeeping their hands on the handlebars.
D. A washable, adjustable Low Back Belt and Cushion can be used in additionto the standard hip belt to provide additional support.
E. Adjustable, padded Lateral Trunk/Hip Supports are available to provideadditional trunk or hip support.
F. Pedal Blocks, made of wood with steel plates, raise feet 11/2".
G. A detachable steel Push/Pull Bar can be used by the caregiver to assist thechild with steering the Trike.
H. A cushioned Upper Trunk Support is available that extends above thestandard seat, and comes standard with a belt.

Mobility Aid TrikeThe Mobility Aid Trike promotes coordination, postural alignment, balance,exercise, and fun.They come as hand or foot powered models, and all have growthadjustability. Seat has full buttock/back support with 90º angled back. Standard 45ºhip belt and cushioned abductionwedge improve pelvic and trunkstability. Its wide, low base andturning stops promotes stability andhelps prevent tipping, thus improvingsafety. Rugged steel construction,solid rubber tires, pedals, and scratchresistant finish make it perfect forindoor/outdoor use.Therapeutichandlebar allows for both vertical andhorizontal hand positioning. Userweight limit for all Trikes is 68 lbs.

The AmTryke®, inspired by therapists to promote motor skill development, wasdesigned for mild to moderately involved children to be able to ride alongside theirpeers. It is available in four models: Large, Regular,All-Terrain, and Toddler. Order withyour choice of Saddle Seat and Curved Back, or gray molded plastic Bucket Seat,which provides a wider base and increased back support for users who do not feelsecure riding a traditional saddle seat or who need additional support while riding. Itcomes complete with a pelvic and chest strap for added support.

Rugged rotating handlebars are attached to the same enclosed chain drive as the footpedals, allowing the rider’s arms to assist the legs in propelling the bike.Three Velcro®
straps secure the feet to the pedals while torso and pelvic straps secure the rider in theseat.The AmTryke® features a wide wheel base with spokeless wheels and semi-pneumatic tires (Toddler, Regular, and Large) or pneumatic air-filled tires (All-Terrain).The narrow turning radius provides stability and maneuverability.The Regular andLarge AmTryke® can be set straight ahead, at a 20º radius, or at an unlimited turningradius, depending on the individual user’s needs.The All-Terrain’s steering cannot belocked, and due to its free motion and weight, children must be able to power andcontrol steering while riding the Tryke. Each comes complete with a helmet, which all
users are stronglyencouraged to
wear for safety.

A. A Padded Backrest, complete with an H-harness, is available for those children withpoor trunk control who want to ride! It replaces a Curved Back and can only be used with a Saddle Seat. Note: This option is not available on the Toddler Tryke.
B. An adjustable width Lateral Support, sold separately, is available to provide extrasupport needed on a child’s weaker side. Two may be used together to assist the childin centering his body on the Tryke. Note: It can only be used with a Padded Backrest.
C. The Padded Head Support (not shown) is to be used in conjunction with thePadded Backrest and H-harness when additional head and neck support is needed.
D. A pair of soft foam Vertical Handgrips, complete with hook and loop hand straps,can replace the standard handgrips on the Tryke for children who need help keeping their hands on the grips.
E. Lightweight, stretchable Hand Wraps are designed to help the child maintain theirgrip on the hand cranks.
F. An aluminum Push Bar (standard on the Toddler AmTryke®, shown above) withrubber hand grip is designed to save parents or therapists from bending over toassist the child when riding the Tryke.
G. A Snell and CPSC certified Safety Helmet (not shown) comes with each Tryke.Additional Helmets can be ordered as the child grows or if several children will besharing the Tryke.
H. A set of two solid steel Stationary Adapters (not shown) can be placed on either thehand or foot sprockets to convert the AmTryke® therapeutic tricycle from a hand andfoot powered tricycle to either a hand or foot powered tricycle. This adaptation willallow the weaker limbs to remain stationary while the stronger limbs propel the Tryke.Not available for Toddler Amtryke®.
I. Gray Plastic Foot Cups with Hardware are available in three sizes with hook-and-loop straps, and are designed to keep the child’s feet on the pedals to aid inpowering the Tryke. The Small should fit children from 1 to 3 years old, the Medium4 to 12 years old, and the Large up to an adult size 12 shoe.
J. Lightweight Pedal Blocks (1/2" high) fit between the pedals and foot cups to adjustfor leg-length discrepancies. Set includes 1 block and 1 plate with hardware.
