Featuring original choreography and MoCo’s advanced dancers, Time To Dance is an energetic, emotional and unique show that will leave you on the edge of your seat. This year’s performance features a special appearance by the world- renowned Apple Hill String Quartet. Time to Dance is a unique show that offers different styles of dance from some of our more advanced students,” says Cassandra Tobey, dance teacher and choreographer at MoCo Arts. “There is a great variation of emotion, music, and movement which makes for an exciting and captivating show. These students have worked so hard and it is remarkable to watch how much they have grown as dancers and as human beings. There is also something astounding about watching our dancers perform to live music. That will be a treat for the audience as well!” “It’s always exciting to work with other artists, and other art forms,” says Lenny Matczynski, Director of the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music. “Everything is magnified with these artistic collaborations, our music comes to life with physical movement, and the experience for everyone is richer as a result.” The MoCo Arts School of Dance offers a variety of classes for kids grades 2 nd through 12 th , with many levels of each discipline available. Kids younger than 2 nd grade are invited to join MoCo’s Creative Dance program, a fun introduction to different styles of dance.
