ANTONI GAUDÍ•He was born 25th June at 1852.

•He was an architect who used a lot the geometric forms and the volume and the nature as a topic: animals, flowers, trees…

•He was the maximum representative of Catalan Modernism.

•He built very emblematic buildings, like La Sagrada Família, La Pedrera and the Parc Güell.

LA PEDRERACasa Milà, better known as La Pedrera, is curious because of its curved façade and white tiles which represent a snowy mountain.It was built between 1906 and 1910.In 1984, it was declared World Heritage by UNESCO

•The Sagrada Família is a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí.

•Although incomplete, the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which it means that is listed as of special cultural significance.

PARC GÜELL

•It was built between 1900 and 1914.

•First, it had to be urbanized, and failed, and after, it became a public park.

•The park is very big.

•It is the most classic style of Antoni Gaudí: “El Trencadís”, is made of break pieces of colourful tiles.

EL PASSEIG DE GRÀCIA

El Passeig de Gracia is one of the main avenues in Barcelona.

It connects with many of the main streets of Barcelona: Catalonia square and the Eixample.
