Minutes of the December meeting were read. Motion from Hansen and a second by Waples to approve the minutes. Financial reports were reviewed and approved on a motion by Hansen and a second by Strohfus. OLD BUSINESS: Fixing the fire hall was discussed. Luckhurst has an idea of how to fix the east wall but will have to be done in the spring. Many compliments were received concerning the town Christmas lights, and the board gave go ahead to have them taken down. A letter on snow removal was sent out to all city residents. NEW BUSINESS: Motion by Waples and a second by Strohfus to designate the Clark County Courier as official newspaper. Motion by Hansen and a second by Waples to approve the following 2021 wages: Finance Officer $500.00 per month; Water/Sewer Operator $450.00 per month, plus $14.00/hr for extra work; Board members $75.00 per meeting. Hansen will become a notary and the city will pay for the cost associat- ed with it, approved with a motion by Waples and second by Strohfus. The dates for taking out a petition for the open town board position are January 29, 2021 to February 26, 2021. If needed election would be April 13, 2021. Luckhurst updated board on the webinar classes he will be taking for his contact hours.
