Mini-CV: Dr 'Mohammad Hakam' Ahmad Al-Shayyab obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery to pursue his postgraduate training in the United Kingdom and Jordan; The University of Manchester (Manchester Royal Infirmary), with a distinction, and the Higher Specialization Residency Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Jordan University hospital. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Currently, he is Assistant-Dean of the School of Dentistry for Hospital Affairs, associate professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University and Consultant at the Hospital. He is also a member of the Executive Committee at Jordan University Hospital, and the vice-president and Examiner for the Jordanian Medical Council for Oral and Maxillofacial Board Examination. He was Assistant-Dean of the School of Dentistry for Examination Affairs, an elected member on the administrative board and the vice-president of the Jordanian Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Examiner for the Jordanian Medical Council for Oral Medicine Board Examination. He is a member of a number of national academic and professional committees, a reviewer and a member on the editorial board for peer reviewed journals with more than 28 publications in international journals. In addition, he was the Head of Continuous Medical Education Committee of the School of Dentistry at the University of Jordan and the Head of Scientific Committee of Jordanian Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
