Mohannad Barakat is an experienced and respected surgeon who has earned special expertise in the field of trauma, orthopedics and spinal surgery. With the large number of surgeries performed successfully that made his medical career successful and added five stars to his profile.

Handling all the aspects of trauma surgery from simple ones to the most complex trauma cases, he is competent in all. In addition, he has a lot of experience and knowledge in ENT, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery and Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Barakat has also gained experience in all emergency trauma surgery, external fixation and frame ring fixation for fractures, hip fractures, long bone fractures humeral fractures, all hand and knee fractures, ankle fractures and pediatric spine fractures/injuries. He is skilled in the field of elective surgery as well and performed elective procedures in various operations particularly spinal surgery.

He is proficient in performing operations for long bone fractures such open reduction and internal fixation with plating systems and intra-medullary nail fixation; humeral fractures such as hemiarthroplasty; and tibia/fibula fractures-including pilon fractures.

Mohannad Barakat GMC has been awarded with several honors and distinctions in the subjects of physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, pathology and orthopedics.
