• Warm up: Copy the steps bellow.
• Today’s Objectives:
• Begin gridding your photo by 1”. Then grid the large paper by 1.5”.
• Follow Handout for thorough instructions
• After gridding begin drawing the outline of your face DO NOT BEGIN SHADING!
• When you are ready to shade, begin worksheet and follow guidelines.

Warm up: Write shading Tips below… Shading your self Portrait: 1. Use Long lead of ebony to shade lightly & smoothly. 2. Start Light & build up to darker values with layers & pressure. 3. Shade neatly in the directions of the main outlines. 4. Put paper under your hand to not smear your shading. Today’s Objectives: •Continue shading your self portrait.
