History
“Hello. Allow us to introduce Alpenmöbel: the art of building hotel rooms is based on the knowledge of hospitality. This is Al-penmöbel’s leitmotiv that guides all of our team’s activity. Our staff is organised in an efficient, professional and “lean” WAY and receives constant training in order to effi-ciently satisfy the requirements of today’s hotel business. Every hotel that applies to our partners, whom we are called upon to serve, represents a mission and total com-mitment for us, to identify the solutions that make excellence a value, and which are targeted to satisfy their customers. This is our commitment – determined by an ex-clusive service, in collaboration with our partners – the difference that distinguishes the hotel rooms that we produce, which surpass the expectations of our hotel cu-stomers.”
It was 1955 when the Merlin brothers, Domenico and Luigino, struck out on a courageous initiative: FOUNDING a company that would stand out in the in-ternational market as a producer of ho-tel rooms. The Company home office was established in Bressanone, in the heart of the Alps – and the Company name became Alpenmöbel. With over 50 years of experience, Alpenmöbel is today recognised internationally for the construction of quality rooms and furni-shings for hotels that wish to stand out for their quality in the world of hospita-lity. With a productive capacity of over 8,000 rooms per year, Alpenmöbel is
From tradition to innovation, in the style of hotel qualityDedicated to Creating Hospitality Values…
a dynamic and lean enterprise that ope-rates with a selected staff of 35 expert and professional persons, serving hotels all over the world, with rapid and efficient production and quality.

Mondo Concept
In a world where everything is constantly changing and progressing, products must be based on standard criteria which are capable of helping local and international cultures to distinguish themselves and integrate. “Mondo” is the result of this idea: a hotel room concept, which can meet the needs of every client and every hotel by taking the local and cultural environment into account.Mondo is based on three “Mondo Concept areas” which, in turn, are subdivided into three “Mondo Concept styles”, aimed at customising international/local hospitality:
The value created to distinguish the best hospitalityStandards are not dictated only by lar-ge companies, but also by guests’ ex-periences relative to quality and hospi-tality. Hotel directors are aware of this. So while the culture of the standard hotel room changes from place to pla-ce, the criteria that determine its value are those requested by guests. Thus, Alpenmöbel pays attention to these cri-teria and has developed “Mondo”, an exclusive hotel room concept capable of responding efficiently to the criteria required by different, specific guest tar-gets. “Mondo” is the result of research and constant studies on hospitality and on the best standards for hotel rooms.
Target on which we built our standards“Mondo” is conceived for hotels to customize their rooms with confidence. It provides the means for the Hotel to welcome its guests in an exclusive, distinguished way, tailored especially to what they, as a target, expect.

The needs of this target – like all other business targets – were studied specially to assist hotels in successfully mee-ting more exacting de-mand.
Like all the other targets Alpenmöbel caters to, this standard aims to set the hotel apart from others in this very spe-cial target for guests from different cultures and countries.
Rooms are designed to meet the needs of a variety of guest types for this target, helping busi-ness hotels specifically in meeting weekend demand.
We have come up with fail-safe standards for hoteliers to create tailored rooms for this target in the business or leisure category.
Alpenmöbel has devised an array of housekee-ping solutions for the needs of its pet loving guests, specific to leisu-re hotels.
This type of guest is typi-cal of middle-upper so-cial class families, who move frequently with nannies/babysitter.

“The idea of offering a seminar targeted specifically at hoteliers and centred on the concept of innovation in tourism markets has certainly drawn attention. The hoteliers who took part in the seminar recognise Alpenmöbel as the brand name of a company with expertise in a specialised business and a professional team equipped to meet the needs of any hotelier.”
Hotel Workshop The international-local Hospitality Seminar working alongside the hospitality provider
As a contribution to the development of the hospitality culture, Alpenmöbel is sponsoring a limited number of hospitality marketing seminars dedicated entirely to hotels and hotel companies who wish to know more about hotel trends. These seminars are conducted by independent experts at the invitation of Alpenmöbel, and offer hotels the exclusive chance to get together and get up to date, and are informative for marketing purposes.
