XSellerator takes advantage of centralized computing for Windows, using Quorum’s DiStributortM hardware and network environment. Dealership applications are loaded on the server and existing
PCs act as Windows terminals. Alternatively, dealers can purchase low cost, reliable “thin clients” instead of costly and difficult to support PCs.
This model provides significant benefits to dealers:
Lower Cost – because the Windows Server does all of the work, this model significantly reduces the cost of purchasing and supporting PCs.
More Secure – automatic centralized backup, virus protection, security administration, application access, disaster recovery and internet access and control provide a much more

Server-Based Computing Model
Technology Platform The underlying database for our products is Microsoft SQL Server — a robust and scalable platform that permits the many benefits of our single database design and easy data access.
XSELLERATOR offers full integration with Microsoft’s Office Products including Outlook for e-mail, Excel for analysis and reports and Word for mail merges and document preparation.
Quorum releases two updated versions of XSELLERATOR every year. The cost of the updates is included in the monthly fees.
The platform and systems are highly scalable. In larger organizations, a second server is installed to separate the database server from the application server, thus maximizing performance. In even larger installations, multiple clustered and load-balanced servers are implemented.
Quorum’s DMS solution was developed using Powerbuilder Version 9.0, which is a true fourth-generation, object-orientated Windows-based development tool. Microsoft .NET technology has also been used for many sophisticated integration functions.
The system runs on Intel-based servers running Microsoft Windows Server Operating System and users access the software using Windows Terminal Services and Quorum’s DISTRIBUTOR™ configuration. Through the use of secure terminal services connections, remote users can access the system as if they were sitting at their desks in the dealership.
