-The Montezuma Mines is located in Nelson, Nevada, U.S.A., 50miles (80.5 km) from the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada. All of thegold mining was done by hand and refined at smelting facilitieselsewhere, periodically from 1862 to 1930s. It is exempt from eminent domain by articlespublished by the Bureau of Mines.-Ingress and egress predominates over all the Federal, state, andcounty ordinances.-The water rights, granted by the 1872 Mining Act, allots 2.01 acrefeet of water per year or 1800 gallons a day.
