When you went to your first 4‐H club meeting, did you feel overwhelmed by what appeared to be controlled chaos?

Did you wonder if they were speaking another language? Join us for the “insider information,” in a class designed to decipher the 4‐H jargon and help you get the most out of your 4‐H career. Whether it is your 1st year or 3rd you will get something to help make your transition into 4‐H easier. Call by the Thursday before the meeting to reserve your spot.

RECORD KEEPING TRAINING Monday, October 29, 2018 6:30pm at The Extension Office

Join us for Record Keeping Training to find out what kind of information you need to be keeping, how to keep up with it and why.

6 HORSE PROJECT JUDGING Horse judging is a vital component of the complete learning experience for any student interested in horses. Students gain many benefits from participating in such a program. It provides an excellent opportunity for youth and college students to learn to make decisions and organize their thoughts while evaluating the conformation and performance of horses. The presentation of oral reasons helps judgers improve their memory skills and learn to speak effectively. In addition, if a judger does own a horse, they be-come better exhibitors because they learn the current show standards and the criteria that actual judges use to evaluate each class.

Practices are held at The Extension Office at 6:30pm. Upcoming Practice Dates:
