The Nangal plant of the company in

Punjab has signed an Memorandum of

Understanding (MoU) with ITI, Nangal

to train youth in 12 trades.

Ghave signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi for cooperation in development of Trigeneration projects in

India. The MoU aims at building a closer strategic partnership between the two companies by jointly exploring business oppor tunities in Trigeneration business segment in India. Under this MoU, GAIL & EESL shall jointly under take studies and if found viable, 50:50 joint venture between GAIL & EESL will be incorporated for undertaking Trigeneration projects. TPC Khargone signs MoU with Khargone Administration to set up

NCOVID-19 ICU and Oxygen beds. NTPC Khargone signed an MoU with Khargone administration to set up 15 Covid-19 ICU beds and

250 Oxygen beds.

The MoU was signed by Dr Ajay Singh, Chief Medical Officer, NTPC Khargone and Ms Ranjana Davar, CMHO Khargone in presence of Shri Gopal Chandra Dad, Collector, Shri Sunil Pandey, SP, Khargone and Shri Ashim Kumar Goswami, Executive Director, NTPC Khargone.

As per the MoU, NTPC Khargone will provide an assistance Rs 2.23 crores to the District Administration of which Rs 52 lakhs will be used for the 15 bed Covid-19 ICU at District Hospital and Rs 1.71 crore for setting up 250 isolation beds with Oxygen Support.

Thermal Power

Station in Odisha has achieved 100

per cent plant load factor (PLF) with a

gene ra t i on o f 19 .342 MU. The

generation of power amounted to

100.74 per cent o f the PLF, the

Maharatna PSU said. The Unit 1 of

Darlipali plant located in Sundargarh

district with 800 MW capacity, which

star ted commercial operation, had

earlier created a record among the

NTPC s t a t i ons f o r con t i nuous

operation for 76 days without tripping

since COD (Commercial Operation

Declaration), it said in a statement.

The company is constructing another

unit of 800 MW capacity at Darlipali

and it is expected to be completed

within this financial year.

NLC India's power generation in March quar ter 2019-

20 was at 6,098 million units (MU), a rise of 9.18 per

cent from the year-ago period. The power generation

by the PSU in January-March 2018-19 stood at 5,586.17 MU,

NLC India said in a statement"Power generation during the quarter and

year ended was 6,098.95 MU and 21,922.98 MU registering a growth of

9.18 per cent and 6.03 per cent, respectively in both the periods," it said.

loans over Rs 1 lakh crore for power projects during

the 2019-20 financial year. Out of the Rs 1 lakh crore, i t successfu l ly disbursed Rs 68,000 crore loans during the last financial year, PFC said in a statement. Backed by strong IT infrastructure, PFC managed this feat of sizeable disbursement even though the employees were working from home.

PFC, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, is the largest non-banking financial corporation (NBFC) in power sector in India. "PFC ended FY 2019-20 on a strong note desp i te numerous cha l l enges , including outbreak of COVID-19 virus.

The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC),

has signed a technology licensing agreement for the

manufacturing know-how of a Personal Protective

Equipment (PPE) Suit named as Nav Rakshak with M/s Indian Garment

Company which is an Agra based apparel manufacturing entity. The

entity is already manufacturing PPE kits in and around Agra and

supplying to various hospitals and has now proposed an annual

production target of over one million PPE kits using the licensed know-

how of NavRakshak to meet the increased requirement of PPEs enforced

by COVID crisis.

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has posted a Net Profit of Rs.138.23 crore for FY19-20. During the

year, the company has achieved net turnover of Rs. 8426 crore, which has been adversely impacted by about Rs.2900 crore due to fall in global metal prices. The expor t turnover of the company for the fiscal was Rs. 3511 crore.

NALCO has continued to remain profitable by successfully handling the market downturn. Riding on overall growth in production, improving productivity & sales, the company has been registering profit every fiscal since inception.

Nprofi during FY 2019-20. NHPC Limited, has declared its Audited

Financial Results for the Financial Year 2019-20. The Board of

Directors approved the Audited Financial Results for FY 19-20 in the e-

meeting held at Faridabad.

NHPC has repor ted net profit af ter tax of Rs. 3007.17 Crore on

standalone basis in the FY 2019-20 compared to Rs 2630.55 crore for

the last fiscal year. Sales for the FY 2019-20 stood at Rs 8735.41 crore

to Rs 8161.18 crore in the last fiscal year.

MCL has deposited a sum of Rs 31.34 lakhs to Collector, Sambalpur for the procurement of the Ambulance. The ALS Ambulance will give a quantum boost to healthcare system of Sambalpur district in terms of preparedness of District Hospital in management of critical patients during Covid-19 and as well as post Covid for the shifting of Critical positive cases to Bhubaneswar or to any other advanced medical care centres.
