traditional attire. The boys energetically administered the day’s activities. Each of them held their
responsibility with dignity and enthusiasm. From the morning assembly, the students took up the
responsibility of self governance. The teachers, in place of students, recited the prayer, thought for
the day, amazing fact and went ahead with the EHV session. The classes were well handled and the
juniors cooperated well with the seniors. Though the day was hectic, it was enjoyed by the students
immensely.
The entire session went till 12:30pm. In the post lunch session, all the students assembled in the
auditorium. The students recited Guru Stuthi, followed by a song sung by the 10th

CAMPUS TALK
Sai Parenting by Dr.B.V. Pattabhiram
Many children today face much stress at home, school and with peers. Therefore, it is
compulsory to work on such stressors in order to prevent the longstanding behavioral difficulties.
Therefore our school, to help children resolve their concerns organized Sai Parenting Programme to
make a difference in their lives.
Dr. B.V. Pattabhiram is a renowned counselor , who conducts workshops on soft Skills / HRD;
to motivate students, teachers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders on various issues across
India, USA, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Arab countries. He advices and guides
people to overcome stress, fears to achieve desired success. His guidance and counseling has always
helped the people suffering in different areas with the best results.
Dr.B.V. Pattabhiram made a power point presentation for the parents about the ways and
means to mentor their wards. He pointed out that parents are influenced by memories from their
own adolescent experiences .These memories may serve to support or block the development of
parenting. Thus, parent counseling can be helpful to the parent to think about the changes that are
occurring in the children and how to deal with it.
He suggested a couple of tips and advises to the parents regarding molding of their wards. The
school took the lead to send those to the parents’ personal mail –ids.
May Swami bless him for such wonderful nectar like words, as valuable as gold. He also
volunteered to counsel the students at his convenience, especially the outgoing batch.

VALUABLE THOUGHTS THAT SHAPED MY LIFE
From childhood, all are very naughty, active and spend their time only for play. These
are good signs. But we cannot take forward some of this childish behavior as we grow
older. We need to learn new things as we advance. Many of us shy and hesitate to take
ourselves forward to any competition or to expose ourselves to the teachers. All are
born with gifted talents which are unexplored. We should work on that talent. In my
childhood, I was apprehensive. But after reading some valuable articles, I changed my
perception. I want to share them with you.
They are,
“All power is within you, you can do anything and everything, just believe in that.”
“What we sow, so we reap.”
“If wealth is lost, nothing is lost. If health is lost, something is lost. But if character is
lost, everything is lost. Once time is lost, everything is lost.”
“Arise, awake and stop not till you reach your goal.”
These really shaped my life. They explain to us about how our attitude should be. I
hope after reading them, you too will get inspired.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
Personality development is the process of tuning ourselves to connect our body
and soul. Through personality development, we strive to improve ourselves, to
bring out the best within us. It is attained through self-motivation by great
personalities like Swami Vivekananda. He had once said, “Your attitude shapes
your altitude.” This means, there should not be any space for all the vices like
ego, jealousy, superiority complex etc and moving towards the right path, by not
waiting for awards and rewards. Therefore, I conclude that as we eat food to fill
our stomach, we need to feed our mind with positive thoughts, right actions,
sincere efforts, service and so on. It should be like an exercise, and all should
imbibe these qualities in our arteries and veins.
