Synopsis

The artist (Robyn) is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend. But she doesn’t feel as if she can leave him as

she is so in love and scared of what will happen if she does – a common feeling that victims feel. To contrast

from this, she dreams about the perfect 1950s lifestyle, and pretends he is like that with her – or can only wish he

was. The contrast between the real and dream like relationship is constantly reminding us the social issues

brought forward of a subject not often spoke about – especially amongst teenagers.
