Zarážení horyOld habit of villages rich in vineyardsGuardian of wineyards called „hotař“ had to pay

attention before harvest time of vine.He picked some flowers, had them consacrated

and put them on a rod („hora“). He raised this rod on the highest peak of wineyard.

Mayor, councilmen were present.Nobody was allowed to go to wineyard from that

moment.Nowadays this habit is being abided in few

villages only. (Velké Pavlovice, Kobylí, etc.)
