    the leadership of the or# a(g%l !ith help from the Wood Elf Wini(el They too& the

    Elven defenders %ne8pe#tedly, ta&ing the 3lade !ithin a fe! days The army !as so h%gethat the entire defense of the Wood Elves #o%ld not stop them Then, !itho%t !arning,

    the army ?%st stopped

    'ltho%gh the Elves !ere relieved !hen the army stopped, as it #o%ld have ta&en the

    entire forest, they !ere not a$o%t to stop fighting ' #o%n#il in the -ing.s 3lade !as heldand it !as de#ided that a f%ll frontal assa%lt !o%ld $e s%i#idal and !as o%t of the

    @%estion The #o%n#il de#ided to send several s#o%ting parties into the very inside of thearmy to see !hat !as really going on ost of the parties never ret%rned

    'll of the s#o%ting parties des#ri$ed hordes of or#s and go$lins r%nning am%#& in theforest, #%tting do!n trees and destroying villages One party, ho!ever, had something

    m%#h more a!f%l to report While spying on the general of the or# army, they sa! a

    fello! Wood Elf !al& right thro%gh all of the or#s and $egin to spea& to the general The

    Elves !ere disg%sted If they #o%ld not tr%st their o!n &ind, !ho #o%ld they tr%st0

    'fter this, the #o%n#il de#ided to send small !ar$ands into the eado! 3lade and try tore#over lost artifa#ts If they #o%ld get eno%gh of these reli#s, they de#ided, they #o%lddrive off the army on#e Orion and 'riel a!a&ened in the spring They sent messengers to

    Brettonia and the oot to re@%est assistan#e from their allies They also tal&ed !ith the

    "ryads and Treemen of the forest in an attempt for more help

    The or#s are not the only threat to the Wood Elves )in#e there are almost no 3lade

    iders g%arding the forest, many of the Elves. oldest enemies have #ome for revenge,treas%re, or other, more fo%l reasons -emmler, !ho narro!ly es#aped the Elves in +49,

    has $een reported to have $een raising the dead aro%nd #airns "!arves, !ho are al!ays

    loo&ing for treas%re, have $een seen planning atta#&s on s#attered or#s in an attempt to

    find some gold The s#aven have t%nnels %nder the forest, $%t have never $efore $eenallo!ed to s%rfa#e %ntil no! H%man mer#enaries have $een spotted in the forest

    re#ently, most li&ely there to find rare artifa#ts for some !ealthy mer#hant.s #olle#tion

    The very #reat%res of 5haos, the Beastmen, have also $een seen in the forest, most li&elysee&ing a ne! home

    'ltho%gh all of these ra#es have gathered in the on#e pea#ef%l forest, none of them has $een a$le to ma&e a po!erf%l eno%gh for#e to stand a #han#e against a(g%l They are

    If a !ar$and stays, all of its heroes gain A1 e8perien#e after listening to tails $y the fire,eating a hefty meal, and dan#ing aro%nd for several days It #osts +"> gold #ro!ns to

    stay, ho!ever, and the !ar$and !ill not go to a shop

    If a !ar$and ?%st passes $y, then nothing happens Treat this as an 2neventf%l Trip

    If a !ar$and raids the #amp, they find "> gold #ro!ns !orth of loot after s#aring off the pea#ef%l Elves Ho!ever, ne!s spreads @%i#&ly, and in the ne8t $attle that the raiders
