The image represents the rending of the veil in God’s temple at the death of Christ (see Ex. 26:31-33; Mt. 27:51, Mk. 15:38; Hb. 9:3). There are 66 pieces of steel and copper that represent the number of books of the Bible, along with further symbols of people and events from Scripture. Small Groups at Grace Get connected this fall in a Grace Group and be a part of the 4G Network– grace, growth, groups and gifts. To find out more about getting into a group at Grace, stop by the table in The Commons or contact Richard at [email protected].

Moon Pie Award The Moon Pie is a traditional southern treat that was a reward for a hard day’s work. At Grace, the Moon Pie represents our appreciation for members of our body who share the riches of God’s grace in the community or in our church body. To all those who made the Thanksgiving baskets possible.

Meals for New Moms If you're expecting a baby and would like to receive meals after your baby arrives, or if you would like to serve a new mom with a meal (this can be a home-cooked meal, take-out, or a gift card), please contact Rachel Hollingsworth ([email protected]), Melissa Redwine ([email protected]), or Shannon Gray ([email protected]) for more information.

Journey into Christmas Volunteers are needed to help with Journey into Christmas on Friday and Saturday nights, December 12 and 13. We especially need people to join the strike crews and help with tear down after the event is over. Please get more information and sign up at the table in The Commons.

Women of Grace Bible Studies Women of Grace Bible studies have concluded for the fall semester. They will be resuming on January 13 and 14. Watch this space for more details to come.

Grace Moms Group Christmas Party All moms and their infants through preschoolers are invited to a Christmas party on Wednesday, December 17 from 10:00 a.m. to noon in The Garage. We’ll have crafts, games, stories, and Chick-Fil-A for lunch! Sign up today in The Commons!

Our Missions Prayer This Week Pray for Isaac and Lillian Ogohi serving in Nigeria. Pray for peace between different people groups. Pray also for perseverance for Isaac as he teaches and translates at Trinity Bible College.

Michael Card Christmas Concert Please join us for a special Christmas concert featuring Michael Card, Buddy Greene, and Jeff Taylor. The concert will be on December 18 and 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free and no tickets are required. Invite your friends and family to come for this special concert.
