Every six to nine weeks these men are asked to pray for the pastor for one full hour, wherever they are. Addi- tional prayer concerns are communicated by a postcard prior to the assigned day. Allan Taylor to Keynote Sunday School Leadership Weekend Allan Taylor is Minister of Education at First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia, where he has served since February, 1995. Under his leader- ship, the Sunday School attendance there has grown from 2,500 to 5,800. Previously, he served Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, and London Bridge Baptist Church in Vir- ginia Beach, Virginia. Before surrendering to full-time Christian service, he was a high school football coach. Allan is the founder of Ember to Blaze Ministries and writes Sunday School, leadership, and training materials. He has authored three books: "Sunday School in HD," "The Six Core Values of Sunday School, " and "Disciplining and Restoring the Fallen. " He has also produced the DVD series, "Sunday School Done Right,” as well as the brand new DVD series, "Forward From Here!" He conducts numerous training seminars nationally and internationally, mentors, instructs, and he encourages Christian educators and lay leaders. Allan will be with us February 21 –22 for Sunday School leadership meetings. Mark the date on your calendar now.
