On the longitudinal trailer frame, mark a verticalcenter line between the front and rear leaf springhangers. Repeat procedure on opposite side.

With suitable floor jack raise trailer frame so tiresare approximately 2” off the ground. Place safetystands under each frame member. Be sure all fourcorners of trailer are securely supported with suit-able stands. Remove wheels.

Place a small floor jack under each axle. If appli-cable remove nuts, washers and bushings of topshock absorber stem.

Remove equalizer / shackle bolts. Lower the axle,be sure not to over extend brake lines. If required,rest axles on suitable blocks or stands.

Cut the equalizer hanger off the frame. Be carefulnot to damage trailer frame.

Cut the shock mounts off the frame. Be careful notto damage trailer frame.

Grind the trailer frame at the shock mount and thehanger locations to a smooth finish.

Using a square, mark a center line across the top ofthe MOR/ryde Hanger Box.

Using a floor jack, raise the MOR/ryde Hanger Boxto the bottom of the trailer frame. Be sure theMOR/ryde Hanger Box is tight to the frame, shockmounts are against frame, and center lines match.Tack weld the mounting brackets to the bottom ofthe frame. Be sure sure the slot in the mountingbracket aligns with the hole in the MOR/rydeHanger. Also be sure the mounting bracket is tightagainst the Hanger Box and bottom of the frame.

Lower the MOR/ryde Hanger and weld mountingclips to the frame. Clips should be welded on allfour edges.

Using 1/2” bolts provided, bolt Hanger Box ontomounting clips.

Bolt shackle plates to “U” channel on Spring Car-rier. Complete this procedure for the remaining 3pairs of shackle plates.

Reinstall shock absorbers and wheels. Torque allhardware. Check brake lines. Raise trailer, removejacks and lower unit to the ground.
