Verify that the flat edge of the latch bolt is facing towards the exterior of door, aligned for a left or right position corresponding with your door’s hinge orientation. It may be necessary to remove the mortise plate from the assembly for reversing the bolt. Rotate the latch bolt and reposition the mortise plate, attaching with the latch assembly screws. From the back of the trim plate, place the flat washer onto the handle post and slide the “D” clip over the washer. Make sure the “D” clip is positioned opening down as shown and then insert the spindle into the handle. Tighten the set screw with the hex key (Allen Wrench) provided. 3b. Insert key and rotate the deadbolt spindle so the proper letter code is facing up. Letter Code: “R” = right hinge door installations “L” = left hinge door installations 3d. 3a.Assemble the Exterior handle and bushing through the exterior trim plate. From the back of the trim plate, place the flat washer onto the handle post and slide the “D” clip over the washer. Make sure the “D” clip is positioned opening down as shown and then insert the spindle into the handle. Tighten the set screw with the hex key (Allen Wrench) provided.

3b. Insert key and rotate the deadbolt spindle so the proper letter code is facing up.

3c.Install the handle assembly as shown. Make certain the deadbolt spindle is correctly oriented as described in 3b. Align the inside turn knob in the upright position. From the inside of the door, align the trim plates and attach using two trim plate screws. Hold the handles together and tighten the set screw on the interior handle using the hex key (Allen Wrench) provided.

4.Open the door and position the strike plate on the mounting frame. Slide the strike plate to the edge of the mounting frame as shown. Install two #8 Flat head screws, test lock operation and adjust strike as needed. Check that the latch and deadbolt operate properly.

2.Trim the flat key cylinder spindle to the length needed using the above chart. For doors that are 1-1/8” to 1-1/2” thick, the square spindle will need to be inserted into the outside handle to the 3rd line in step 3a. For doors that are 1-1/2” 1-5/8” thick, the square spindle will need to be inserted into the outside handle to the 2nd line in step 3a. For doors that are 1-5/8” – 2” thick, the spindle will need to be inserted into the outside handle to the first line in step 3a.

Instrucciones de la mortaja1.

Verifique que el borde plano del pestillo de seguridad esté ori-entado hacia el exterior de la puerta, alineado para una posición izquierda o derecha que corresponda con la orientación de la bisagra de su puerta. Puede ser necesario retirar la placa de la mortaja del ensamble para invertir el pestillo. Gire el pestillo de seguridad y reposicione la placa de la mortaja, fijándola con los tornillos de ensamblaje del pestillo.

3b. Inserte la llave y rote el eje del pestillo de doble seguridad de modo que el código de la letra adecuada esté orientado hacia arriba. Código de letra: "R"= instalaciones en puertas de bisagras a la derecha "L"= instalaciones en puertas de bisagras a la izquierda

3a.Ensamble la manija exterior y el cojinete a través de la placa de ajuste exterior. Desde la parte posterior de la placa de ajuste, coloque la arandela plana en el poste de la manija y deslice el sujetador en "D" sobre la arandela. Cerciórese de que el sujeta-dor en "D" esté colocado con la abertura hacia abajo como se ilustra y luego inserte el eje en la manija. Apriete el tornillo de fijación con la llave hexagonal (Allen) que se suministra.

3c.Instale el ensamble de la manija como se ilustra. Cerciórese que el eje del pestillo de doble seguridad esté correctamente orientado según se describe en 3b. Alinee la perilla giratoria interna en posición vertical. Desde la parte interna de la puerta, alinee las placas de ajuste y fije utilizando dos tornillos para placa de ajuste. Sostenga juntas las manijas y apriete el tornillo de fijación de la manija interior utilizando

Abra la puerta y coloque la placa receptora en el marco de montaje. Deslice la placa receptora hacia el borde del marco de montaje como se ilustra. Perfore con el punzón y taladre (2) agujeros guía de 3/32" como se ilustra. Coloque dos tornillos cabeza plana Nº 8, pruebe el funcionamiento de la cerradura y ajuste la placa según sea necesario. Revise que el pestillo y la cerradura de doble seguridad funcionen adecuadamente.

2.Recorte el husillo plano del cilindro de la llave al largo necesario utilizando el gráfico superior. Para puertas de 1-1/8 a 1-1/2 pulgadas de espesor, el husillo cuadrado necesitará ser insertado en la manija exterior hasta la 3ra línea en el paso 3a. Para puertas de 1-1/2 – 1-5/8 pulgadas de espesor, el husillo cuadrado necesitará ser insertado en la manija exterior hasta la 2ª línea en el paso 3a. Para puertas que son de 1-5/8 a 2 pulgadas de espesor, el husillo necesitará ser insertado en la manija exterior hacia la primera línea en el paso 3a.
