Mossy Oak Properties Of The HeartlandPresents The 2012 Monster Buck ClassicThe setting for the inaugural Monster Buck Classic of Kansas is the Kansas ExpoCentre located in thecapital city of Topeka, KS. The ExpoCentre can be accessed from every region in the state by way ofmajor interstate or highway. It is 60 miles west of Kansas City and 140 miles from Wichita, our twomajor markets. The facilities have adequate space and parking for up to 2,200 vehicles. The CapitalPlaza Hotel is on the ExpoCentre campus.

Purpose Of EventTo promote the great sport of deer hunting and outdoor recreation in Kansas by offering a whole-some venue which the general public of Kansas can display their passion for the sport, learnconservation and techniques to enhance their experience in the great outdoors, view and purchasethe latest tools, technology and gear in the industry and give notice to the rest of the Mid-West andHeartland of America that Kansas has officially arrived.

Sponsors & ExhibitorsOur Sponsors and exhibitors have an opportunity to be a part of the Monster Buck Classic of Kansasevent that will change things forever in Kansas. The state of Kansas has never had the opportunityuntil now to carve their name in the halls of officially recognized big bucks like Iowa, Nebraska andIllinois have done and been doing for years through their Monster Buck Classic venues. Our sloganand theme for the event “We Are Kansas” and “On January 27-29th, 2012 everything changes”, arestatements and notice of sorts to the rest of the Midwest and Heartland of America that Kansas hasnow arrived and taken center stage. The event is the first of the “Monster Buck Classic” season witha date of January 27-29th, 2012. The event date is the closest date of all shows and events of its kindto the end of deer season. The date of the event is the weekend after the NFL playoffs and a weekbefore the Super Bowl and after the national SHOT SHOW in Las Vegas. Parking for the event isfree and paid admission is good all weekend long, allowing people to come and go which will helpto drive the overall attendance.

Promotion & Marketing

Because the event is an "inaugural event" we have a very aggressive marketing plan in place as follows:

Television: Cross Timbers Production will create a :30 second commercial to be run on all 17 MondayNight Football Games in the Kansas City, Topeka, and Wichita markets. The commercial will also run onABC 49 in the Topeka market. This will go into 650,000 homes and reach over 1.2M people each week.

AP Press Releases: Press releases will be done periodically leading up to the event. Significant newsand information will be shared with most media outlets in Kansas.

Newspaper: Topeka Capital-Journal, Kansas City Star, Wichita Eagle, Salina Journal, ManhattanMercury, and the Pittsburg Morning Sun. We will also solicit newspapers for interview and storycoverage before during and after the event. We have a relationship with the KC Star OutdoorEditor, Brent Frazee. He has committed to covering the Monster Buck Classic prior, during andafter the event.

Kansas Department of Commerce, Travel and Tourism and Visit Topeka:

Billboards: We will place billboards on the following routes: Hwy 54 from Fort Scott to Pratt,Hwy 69 from KC to Pittsburg, Hwy 96 from Wichita to Hutch, Hwy 177 from Manhatten toEl Dorado, Hwy 81 from Salina to Belleville. Billboards will be placed no later than December 1, 2011.

Poster Distribution: Physically place over 2,000 10 inch x 15 inch full color official MBCK posters.Every county east of Hwy 281 up to I-70, back over to Hwy 81 up to the NE state line and east to theMO state line and down to the OK state line will be canvassed. We will place the posters, withpermission at each location, in hunting and outdoor stores, convenience stores, Wal-Mart SportingGoods Departments, Tractor Supply Stores, Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Cabala’s, restaurants, and other places that will give us exposure. All posters will be up no later thanOctober 15, 2011

Website: monsterbuckclassic.com is the official domain name and home for the event on theworld-wide web. We will place our web address on all marketing and media material to drive folksto the site and bring quick access of what is taking place in the “We Are Kansas” and the KansasMonster Buck Classic world. We will place the web link on as many other sites as we possibly can.Each sponsor and vendor will have a presence on our website.

Promotion & Marketing continued...

MBCK Official Event Bags: Each adult ages 18 and up (one per family) that comes through thegate will receive an official event bag. One side will have the official MBCK logo on it and the otherside will boast our sponsors in proportion to their sponsorship level. These will be around long afterthe event is over.

Official MBCK Apparel: Each sponsor will have their logo appear on all dated official MBCK apparelsold during the event. The apparel store will be located at the entrance to the ExpoCentre.

Email blast and direct mail: We will direct mail over 10,000 known Kansas resident deer hunters.

Links on other websites: We will work with other websites (sponsors, exhibitors, outdoor andhunting venues, etc.) to place our link on it for traffic to the MBCK website

Social Networking Platforms: We will promote the event on all the major social networkingplatforms before, during and after the event is over.

Hat Giveaway: The first 100 paid attendees per day will receive a FREE official MBCK hat.

Kansas State Fair Booth: We will have a booth at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, KS in September.

University of Kansas and Kansas State University: We will have marketing efforts on both campusesthrough their football and basketball programs. Plans for this have yet to be finalized.

Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Hunting Regulations Booklet: We will place an ad inthis publication. Over 275,000 are distributed throughout Kansas. The booklets hit the shelvesSeptember 1st and remains on shelves until after the spring of the following year.

Landsofamerica.com and Landwatch.com: The leading land for sale websites in the world. We willhave banner ads on the Kansas homepages of these land websites. Hunters often visit these sitesin search of land to buy for hunting.

Christmas Parades: We will attend and participate in Pittsburg, Fort Scott, Topeka, Wichita, Hutchinson,Salina and Manhattan’s Christmas parades. We will pull the official MBCK trailer through each parade.

Paid admission: General admission is good for the entire weekend. This will help drive attendanceand awareness of the event.

Monster Buck Contest

Friday: 1 PM – 9 PM Saturday: 10 AM – 7 PM Sunday: 10 AM – Noon

Monster Buck Classic main event will happen at 2PM on Sunday and be hosted by Spook Spann.Spook is responsible for the largest deer ever harvested on video, a 230+ inch whitetail taken inStafford County, KS. He is also the host of SpookNation, a television show on the Pursuit andSkyAngel networks. He is an accomplished professional hunter and is sponsored by Mossy Oak andUnder Armor to name a few. He has been noted as the next outdoor television mega-star.

To Enter Monster Buck Contest or have a buck officially B & C Scored: $20.00, includes a generaladmission good for the entire weekend.

*Only Kansas Residents are eligible to enter the Monster Buck Contest. Anyone, resident or non-resident,

can have a whitetail or mule deer officially scored.

King of Kansas TrophiesIn addition to the announcement of each category winner we will crown the first ever Monster BuckClassic We Are Kansas King of Typical and King of Non-typical bucks. It will be a "Heisman" award ofsorts that will be the bragging rights of Kansas and these bucks will remain the Kings until someonein a future Monster Buck Classic We Are Kansas event tops their scores and becomes the new King.This will be the one award that each Kansas deer hunter will dream of capturing from season toseason. The buck has to of been harvested the current years deer season by a non-professional.We will have two very unique King of Kansas trophies that will have the bucks score and the nameof the hunter engraved in it which will travel with the bucks to different venues throughout the stateand region between the annual event.

*Paid admission is good for the entire weekend so attendees can come and go as they please!

Each paid general admission will receive a wristband that must stay attached to arm to be goodfor all weekend.

Celebrity Appearances

We currently have agreements to be in attendance with Spook Spann (professional hunter with thelargest whitetail deer ever killed on video and host of the outdoor television show Spook Nation),Justin McBride (two time PBR World Champion and country music singer), and Dan Thurston (starof Drury Outdoors’ Bow Madness series and Kansas resident). Spook Spann will host and emceethe Monster Buck Contest and have a booth to meet and greet the public, sign autographs anddisplay his 231 inch monster whitetail. Former PBR star and Two Time World Bull Riding ChampionJustin McBride will perform a mini-concert in the Exhibition Hall located next to the ExpoCentre onSaturday night for all vendors and their guest. He will have a booth and be available throughout theevent to meet and greet the public and sign autographs. Dan Thurston will host a seminar and beavailable to meet and greet the public.

Unique AttractionsAs if Spook Spann's 231 inch monster buck isn't enough, we will have David Richardson and his WestTexas Rattlesnake Show as one of our main attractions. His show has an Anti-Drug message. He willperform mini-shows throughout each day. This will be an attraction that folks will talk about longafter the event is over. The Antler Dog founder and trainer Roger Sigler, will be in attendance host-ing seminars about shed hunting with dogs. Jerry Boyles will be at the show with his Bow-Masters3-D Target Popup course for bow shooters to test their shooting skills and win prizes. AJ Woodwill be creating paintings for the winners in each Monster Buck category. Wrap It Up! Vehicle Wrapswill be on hand wrapping vehicles with Mossy Oak camo during event hours.

In addition, Christian Comedian Bob Smiley will be at the event Friday and Saturday to hecklethe crowd and do mini comedy stand ups during the day atop the “Crows Nest” and perform a45 minute stand up comedy show prior to Justin McBrides concert Saturday night.

The crowd will be able to test their skills and match wits against the smartest chickens in theworld in a game of tic tac toe. The Tic Tac Toe Chicken attraction has appeared on Larry KingLive and awed thousands upon thousands of players and spectators over the years. Folks willnot forget this one.

To reserve a booth 50% is due at the time of reservation and the remaining balance is due byDecember 15, 2011. Any booths reserved after this date must be paid in full.

Inaugural pricing promotion. Any vendor that reserves a booth prior to December 15, 2011 will securethis booth space price for the 2013 MBCK event.

Parking for the event is free to everyone.

All booths will include pipe and drape, one table and two chairs and includes four event passes.Additional event passes can be purchased for $5.00 each.

Each vendor and booth staff is invited to a private Bob Smiley stand-up comedy show and a Justin MCBridemini-concert Saturday night starting at 9PM in the Sunflower Ballroom located in the Capital Plaza Hotel.It is an appreciation event for our vendors.

The official hotel of the MBCK is The Capital Plaza Hotel, a five star property located on the ExpoCentrecampus within walking distance of the event. We have a limited number of rooms reserved at theCapital Plaza Hotel for our exhibitors. Exhibitors can reserve rooms for $99.00 per room per night untilDecember 20, 2011. After this date the room rate will increase to $115.00 per night. This Year’s Event Benefactor This year’s event will benefit Friends Of American Heroes, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whosegoal is to honor American military heroes and their families. Their mission is to promote and nurturefamily values, friendship, fellowship, and love of country by encouraging participation in outdoorrecreation. Our heroes' mental and physical struggles do not end once they leave the hospitalor rehabilitation center—they face a lifelong uphill battle. Therefore, to uplift and encourageour wounded heroes as they persevere in life, Friends Of American Heroes works to provide enrichingoutdoor recreational opportunities for them across the country.
