Create a figurative sculpture out of clay based on the 20th century sculptures we have seen.

It does not have to be in the style of any one particular artist. I only ask that you consider the works we have seen and let that inform your work.

Consider scale, proportions, how “finished” you want it to look (i.e. texture, construction method).

First off: Create 5 developed and different sketches of sculptures you might want to create.

Note: based on the color simplicity of 20th century sculptures we have seen, we will not be glazing these with color or at all (clear, neutral, or nothing at all).
