ResalutionResolution is the clearness and good quality of an image or video . The resolution depends on the amount of pixels that are used in the image or video the more pixels I it the better the resolution .The less pixels in the image or video it will be not as good resolution. Most good cameras resolution is around 640x480 pixels

Screen resolution Screen resolution is used in a ratio format which shows how many pixels can be held on the screen which you are on. The ratio means how many pixels the first number is the horizontal pixels the second number is the how many pixels are on the vertical. When the two numbers are times togever it shows how many pixels are on the screen

The Viewsonic monitor which I am using has a pixels ratio of 1680:1050 which makes a total pixels of 1764000

Frame rate Frame rate or frame frequency is the amount of frames that are used in a second. The conman frame rate that is used is 25 or 30 frames per second . Though earlier movies used 14 to 24 frames per second . And also some new movies like the Hobbit have used 48 frames per second in their movie . A persons eye can see around 10 to 12 different images in one second .frame rates changes depending where you are in the world in European video cameras they film In 25 frames per second where as American they film in 300 frames per second

Video formantsThere are several different video format types which can be stored into multiple ways codec , frame rate , frame size, frame aspect ratio , pixel aspect ratio and scanning meathead. The most common types of video formats are DV, HDV and AVCHD. DV and HDV are tape based that can be stored onto a disk and be transfer by editing through a fire wire. AVCHD are file based files that can be transfer to the computer by using a USB .
