n Superior non-porous, precision-cast gridsare designed for maximum current-carrying capacity exclusively for motivepower applications. The grids are pastedwith active material that delivers reliableperformance throughout a long servicelife. All phases of plate production arecomputer controlled to meet rigid qualitycontrol specifications.

n Both the positive and negative plates arecured in temperature/humidity-controlledovens to ensure optimum plate curingregardless of external environmentalconditions.

n The positive plate is protected by amultiple-step retention system, includingtwo layers of vertical mats consisting offiberglass tape and interwoven glassfibers, a horizontal glass fiber mat, and aperforated retainer envelope. This ensuresoptimum active material retention forlonger life, and provides increased plateinsulation for added performance. Thepositive plates are also surrounded bydeep channeled, microporous separatorsthat provide a durable barrier betweenpositive and negative plates, whileallowing the free flow of electrolytethroughout the cell, optimizingperformance and extending service life.
