The Murcielago RISES again! Ofcourse we all remember that the Murcielago went through ahorrific accident quite recently, which left some of us sleepless for a few nights. But now we havethis beauty is back on Tanzanian roads and is out there to claim back its title, The hottest supercarIn Tanzania. One may say so why an exotic car in a country like Tanzania.. Where the roads are for it,well prominent businessman and Delina Enterprises CEO, Davis Mosha had a different thinking. “i wanted a car that is fast and which can make heads turn”. Davis who was also the foundingmember of the STADO rally team was also an acive rally driver, he is soon planning his come backinto the rally scene. Also in Davis garage are two more exotics, A lexus LX570 and a Mercedes BenzSLK. After many follows ups, Motor Bazar Magazine finally got a chance to experience and feel what this raging bull has to offer. Forget about cost savings and fuel economy, once you see theMurcielago you will come to know Lamborghini are out there to make the fastest, loudest,maddest supercars in the global market. What a beauty it was. EngineA 6.5-litre V12 engine lies at the heart of the LP640, where LP stands for 'longitudinale posteriore',which refers to the V12 unit mounted lengthways behind the cockpit. Coupled to a new six-speedgearbox, which can also be ordered with Lambo's e-gear sequential paddle shift, the LP640 howlsfrom 0-100kmph in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 320 kmph.

ExteriorHelping it to achieve this colossal speed and remain stable are plenty of aerodynamic changes forthe LP. Reshaped front and rear bumpers direct air more efficiently, while the exhaust is nowincorporated into the rear diffuser to help cancel out aerodynamic lift at high speeds.All body panels except the roof and doors were constructed of ultra-lightweight carbon fiber.The suspension featured electronic adjustable damping, which raised the car's front suspension45mm to avoid scraping the Murcielago's (normally) low-slung chin on driveways and inclines.Lamborghini has also created a larger air intake on the left side to feed the oil cooler.For those wishing to show off the LP's 6.5-litre V12 to full effect, like DELINA CEO a glass enginecover can be ordered. Feeding and cooling its powerful engine were a variety of scoops and ducts,including two electronically controlled air scoops that automatically raised from the car's rearhaunches when needed. InteriorIn contrast to the wildly styled exterior, which included the trademark Lamborghini scissor doors,the Murcielago's interior was an exercise in simplicity. The seats were supportive and comfortable,though difficult to get into. The seats are custom stitched in bright yellow leather.The standard equipments included air-conditioning, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, powerwindows and locks, and an audio system with CD player. Bentley Mulls Armored Car Division

Demand for armored luxury vehicles is generally accommodated byaftermarket tuners and niche manufacturers, but now Bentley isconsidering bringing an armoring service in-house.

Customers in emerging markets like South America, the Middle Eastand Russia have driven demand for these vehicles.“We are growing in more and more markets there. For these markets,security is an issue. We are looking at thebusiness case of doing armouredcars,” said Bentley’s finance chief,Jan-Henrik Lafrentz.

Jaguar and Land Rover bothoffer armored version oftheir cars in these markets,making the move for Bentleyseem easily accomplished.

Subaru Planning to Expand STi Range

Subaru is looking to expand its STi performance range,with new high performance versions of other products inits lineup planned for new markets. Subaru is in the earlystages of the STi ramp-up, testing the waters first in Russiawith a higher-performance version of the Forester compactcrossover. Unveiled at the Moscow Motor Show,the Forester TS, previously only sold in Japan,gets custom bodywork, an STi suspension and aturbocharged 2.5-liter engine making 259-hp.

In addition, Subaru has long been rumored to be planningan STi version of its BRZ sports car, while other models,like the Legacy could see a similar treatment.

New Range Rover images released

Land Rover has released the first images of the all-newRange Rover, one of the most eagerly awaited new carsof the year. The company has decided on an evolutionaryapproach to the styling. There were rumours that theRange Rover might go for the look of the Evoque,but thankfully they decided against it.

Land Rover is not giving details of the mechanicals atthis stage – they will be announced early next month.However, we do know the car uses an all-aluminiummonocoque body (i.e. no Land Rover Defender-styleseparate chassis) to save weight. The good news is thatthe reduced weight means it is practical to offer theV6 diesel from the Range Rover Sport for the first time.

The “friends of Carroll Shelby” are saluting the late automotive pioneerwith a remarkable, one-off 850-hp GT500 Cobra. Ford Motor Co.,Shelby American, Ford Racing and others collaborated on theomnipotent machine, styled in the blue and white colors of thelegendary Cobras of the 1960s. It gets a wide body kit,high-performance 13-inch-wide rear wheels and a 4.0-literFord Racing supercharger that lifts output from the GT500's usuallevel of 662 hp.

The Shelby tribute Cobra will tour the country, and Ford hinted it wouldbe used in a philanthropic manner at the end of its run.“Even at 89 years of age, Carroll was an inspiration to us all,”Ford marketing chief Jim Farley said in a statement.“This year marks the 50th anniversary of the original Shelby Cobra.This car represents the very idea he had about making the2013 Shelby GT500 into a true Cobra.
