The Jaipur Debate organised by the Debating society of NMS has also become a very popular national competition which sees participation of schools across the country.
Student OpportunitiesThe school has a very active student led MUN (Model United Nations) program for the last 10 years.
With the growing appreciation of TED Talks as a teaching & learning tool and a catalyst for innovation & change, our students organise TEDx Youth and Tedx Kids events. NMS student speakers who have made a remarkable difference in the community are chosen to become speakers.
NMS has a dynamic STEM club which meets every week to work for the technological advancement of the school. They have introduced Robotics in the academic year 2016-17 and now set up a Robotics Lab and Innovation Centre.
JSEF- Jaipur Students' Entrepreneurship Fest, an event organised by the members of Entrepreneur club of the school is an interschool national event which hosts multiple competitions related to the current business trends. The most popular event is the Start up competition which offers school students an opportunity to present their start-up ideas and pitch for their ideas.
NMS is also a member of International Award for Young People (IAYP) which encourages over all development of young adults by challenging them in four areas- physical recreation, skills, service and expeditions.
NMS helps students build upon their positive experiences at NMS to gain admission into colleges and universities in India and all over the world. Our comprehensive counseling program guides and supports students throughout the university application process, beginning in Grade 9 and continuing throughout Grade 12.

Nischay is a NGO which strives to educate under privileged girls totally free of cost-which includes uniform, school bags, books, mid-day meals and conveyance facilities. Vocational expertise is imparted to the girls in our sewing and crafts room, baking & confectionary. Students from Grade 4 to 12 are involved with these girls through teaching various subjects/ mentoring/ becoming role models/ Dance/ Art/ Sports/ Photography/ Digital learning. These community activities bring the students together on campus and help them foster traditional values of empathy, compassion and respect towards others and the environment.

Nominations for the members of Student council are done by the teachers and student community followed by a rigorous interview procedure and an individual presentation.
