    Room 9 & 10 Cultural Excursion

On Tuesday, 11 June, Rooms 9 & 10 participated in a fun and educational day out in Perth City. The

students participated in two ‘Fun with Fairy tales' workshops at the State Library. They got to create

and photograph a retell of popular fairy tales and engage in a fractured fairy-tale exercise, where they

learned some of the tricks to put a fun twist on a classic tale.

Both classes also took the Fresh Food Tour at Woolworths, where they had the opportunity to learn all

about healthy food options and experience just how cold the cool rooms are!

    Kathy Hollier & Tom Cecins

    Class Teachers, Room 10

On Tuesday Room Nine went to Woolworths and the Library.

First of all we went to the library and did activities inside. Next we went for a walk to Woolworths.

We got food. Next of all we did some running. Last of all we went to play.

The best part was when we went for a walk in the sun. I had fun on Tuesday the 11th of June but I nev-

    er got sad.

We would like to thank our families who have paid their voluntary contributions and encourage everyone to do

so. This money is allocated to all of our learning areas and provides extra consumables, resources etc. for the

students. School events such as incursions and excursions incur a compulsory charge. When parents sign the

consent form, permission is given for the student to attend the event. It would be appreciated if outstanding fees

and charges could be paid as soon as possible. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, a payment plan can

be provided. For further details, please contact Sue Andersson, Manager Corporate Services on 9208 3900 or

    call into the Front Office.
