Route 1: Thing Valley Road to Fry Creek Campground

By car or truck: I-8 to Pine Valley, left on Sunrise Highway past mile 22.5; right on Thing Valley Road. Camp along Thing Valley Road.

By bike: 3.5 miles to locked gate Right on Fred Canyon 6.3 miles to Fry Creek Driver meets at Fry Creek Campground on

Kitchen Creek Road About 10 miles; drops 2600 feet Option: ride another 4.5 miles down Kitchen

Creek road (paved) to I-8
