Construction hours Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm. Nearby residents will be advised of any construction work outside of normal working hours. Community AdvocateRowena Lennings has been working with the community to help ensure clear and consistent information is delivered. A flow chart has been developed to help the community understand the process. The flow chart and monthly Community Advocate reports are available on the RMS project website at www.rms.gov.au/gu.
Community display centreThe community display centre is now open. Community members are encouraged to visit the display centre for information on the project and general construction inquiries. The display centre is located at 446 Princes Highway, Gerringong, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, excluding public holidays.
Southbound vehicles are encouraged to take the Fern Street exit off the highway and travel through Gerringong to Belinda Street. Access to the site compound is off the Princes Highway.
What happens next?Construction has started with completion expected in the first half of 2015, weather permitting. The project team will continue to keep the community informed about the project during construction.
