Our Course Maintenance Department is
making some moves. Look for Marc Snyder
at Outlaw, and soon Brad Bird and Pepe
Castillo will switch. Brad at Renegade and
Pepe at Cochise. The Geronimo Superin-
tendent will be announced soon!
Our members will soon have a choice of
playing 9 or 18 holes of golf with a walking
cart for just $10. Look for the upscale mod-
ern version of a pull-cart at Outlaw in just a
few weeks.
The Southwest Amateur comes to DMC next
year for 4 years. Players arrive from 35 differ-
ent countries and states from all over the
world. With a handicap of 1 or less, it’s invi-
tation only. Our very own Scott Frisch was a
two time winner back in the day.
Our friends with Schwab Cup will be hosting
a VIP event for the Arizona Diamondback’s
top end clients on Tuesday, June 19th, with
hopes of encouraging their participation at
the October tournament.
A 1st time summer trip with 6 member cou-
ples and 3 F&B staff will head to Napa Val-
ley soon for a custom trip through the wine
country. Chef Matt will prepare a once in a
life time dinner designed for the group and
served in a winery. Cheers.

There are 16 of us who come at Marianne Arko, Contract Admin, at all different times throughout the day with various questions or problems. She will always stop and take the time for each one of us, willingly and with a smile. Marianne handles various duties in her position which include much more than contracts, escrows and listings. She is level headed and always uses her best judgment. Not to mention, always pleasant and more importantly, extremely honest.

Staff Championship
The 2012 Staff Championship is just around the corner. This year’s event will
be held on July 23rd – 25th on the Outlaw, Geronimo and Cochise golf
courses. If you wish to play, this must be completed and turned into the
Tournament Office no later than July 15th. Late entries are not guaranteed a
