Moving borders przekraczamy granice
Moving borders in my own lifeby Wojciech Studnicki
Borders
Borders define geographic boundaries of political entities or legal jurisdictions, such as governments, sovereign states, federated states, and other subnational entities. Some borders—such as a state's internal administrative border, or inter-state borders within the Schengen Area—are open and completely unguarded. Other borders are partially or fully controlled, and may be crossed legally only at designated border checkpoints and border zones may be controlled. Some, mostly contentious, borders may even foster the setting up of buffer zones.
Classification of borders
• Natural borders• Political borders• Economic border• Social borders• Borders between people – the biggest

Borders between people – the biggest problem at the World
Discrimination due to social differences, race, ethnicity, history of the nation, education, age, sexual orientation, gender, etc. is the biggest problem of modern societies, which is creating many conflicts leading to the disintegration of society and the marginalization of minorities.
We need to try to change the way of thinking
of many people in order to change the situation of discriminated people. We have to take care about human rights! We have to move borders!
Moving borders in my own life
The story of a friendship
1. At last summer I have met Alexander in Berlin.
2. We have spent a great week at the Europäische Akademie in Berlin with a
international group of people.
3. Me and Alexander, we became a friends.
4. After a month, Alexander visited me in Warsaw.
5. We had a wonderful time during walking and talking about the problems of the modern
world.
6. In the evening we went to the Saviour Square. We started talking about difficult Polish - German relations, World War
II, Warsaw's history and the history of our families.
7. About my grandparents, who were prisoners in Nazi concentration camps and Alexander grandparents, who were members of the Hitlerjugend and the SS officers.
8. Now, 69 years after World War II, 70 years after the Warsaw Uprising, 25 years after the the Round Table talks and the fall of the Berlin Wall, we are in the heart of Warsaw and we are talking about history, very difficult history of our nations and the current situation in Europe, as an equal without prejudice and negative emotions.
9. We are analyzing the past and we are looking for new solutions.
10. We moved all borders between us. We are the best friends!
11. The rainbow behind us is a symbol of hope, happiness and peace. We hope to change the World. We want to move all of the borders.
The End!
