LONG TERM GOALS To enable the students to adopt 21st
century teaching skills in Urdu learning. To incorporate Bloom’s taxonomy.
SHORT TERM GOAL Developed students reading skills using
21st century teaching skills. To help students understand that they
can use internet, word processing, multimedia applications for their Urdu projects.
To encourage students to move from lower –order thinking to higher-order thinking skills for creative writing.
INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES AND TASK
I will provide more opportunities for students to answer questions that require higher-order thinking.
I will train students for the assembly presentations, elocution, debate competition and role play.
I will display progress chart for this purpose Ms excel will be used.
SOLUTIONS TO ANTICIPATED CHALLENGES
Challenges Children might not be aware of using in
page software on computer. There may be some students who do
not have the internet facility at home. Parents may not give importance to
Urdu as a core subject. Student’s Urdu handwriting is not good.
Solutions The in page software should be installed in the
computer lab to facilitate the Urdu teachers as well as students.
Parents should be given awareness of the importance of internet these days, so they can corporate with us.
I will download the worksheet from the internet and give them as writing practice in class.

CONCLUSION By implementing my newly acquired
21st century teaching approaches, students will be empowered , appreciate and gain a better knowledge of Urdu language.
