Thank you, Veterans!

This Wednesday, we will continue to honor the Veterans who have bravely served and protected our country.

We will be remembering all of our Veterans in a variety of ways this week. One of the things Mrs. Dake has been doing with the students is to learn the song: My Country ‘Tis of Thee. She has also sent a book with the words to the song. Your child should use this opportunity to practice the words as well as to color the pages and return it to school. Many of the books will be displayed outside the music room.

Again, we thank you, Veterans, for all that you have done and still do!

Plains Art Case

This past week, our class was able to view items that were borrowed from the Plains Art Museum.

Students were able to see how Native Americans used natural resources to create beautiful artwork.

The kids enjoyed viewing and exploring the various items including many of the items seen in this piece of artwork.
