Ms. Austin’s First Grade Class Homework Sheet February 4, 2013. Spelling Words: saw, soon, every, any, nose, hose, note, vote, joke, home BONUS: rose The homework assignments for this evening are: *English Language Arts : 1- ABC Order in your spelling notebook 2- Read for 15-20 minutes. *Mathematics : 1- Review Sheet. We will continue to explore Chapter 8 topics for several more days. *Other : 1- Fill out your reading log every night . Remember, that reading for 15-20 minutes every night is a part of your child’s homework assignment therefore their reading log/assignment is to be completed just as homework activities/sheets are. 2- “All About Dad” Penny Auction Donations due by Friday, 2-8. 3- No Extra Help tomorrow, 2/5/13. It will resume on Friday, 2/8 at 7:55am. What’s happening at Central Blvd. School : • PTA Lip Sync is this Friday. If you are attending you should have already picked up your tickets. The event is sure to be a success! I look forward to seeing the class performance! • NWEA testing for the Winter Period is this week. • There is no extra help this Tuesday, 2/4. I apologize for the cancellation but I will be at training all day. • Anti Bullying Awareness week will be 2-19 through 2-25 this year. The Building Team has some fun & exciting activities planned for this year! More details to follow as we are finalizing details this week. • PTA meeting, February 6 th . Please note the time change. It will be held at 9:30 am in the APR. • PTA Penny Auction Donations are due by this Friday, February 8 th . Our theme is “All about Dad”.
