I am Ms. Coolie Mouse. Call me Coolie. Nice to meet you.

I lived in a tank with fifty other mice. All of a sudden a nice lady came and picked me up by my little tail. She saved me from getting eaten by a snake.

She put me in a cage and took me to school. I read a sign that said Mrs. Carlson’s Classroom. I must be in Mrs. Carlson’s classroom.

In October I was scared and saw some bars. I could squeeze out but not today. The kids had a vote to see what my name would be. I liked Ms. Coolie Mouse or Stella Luna. My name

turned out to be Ms. Coolie Mouse.

On the next day I escaped! Everybody was looking for me but I was hiding well. That day kids had a Halloween party. That day I had a feast of lots of yummy food.

Then three kids came in. Their names were Hailey, Nate and Eryn. When everyone left I was thirsty. I saw a bucket full of cold water. All of a sudden I slipped and fell into the deep pool of water. I was panicking. Mr. Toussant heard me splashing wildly. He ran over and scooped me out of the water and put me in a warm and unfamiliar cage made of plastic. I chewed my way through the plastic.

I escaped for a long time but they still caught me. The last time I escaped it was a trick. Mr. Toussant trapped me in my old cage and put me in a new one.

I still live there happily in that cage! I am still a little scared.

I am sure I will get used to my new cage and get used to being without my fifty friendly mice friends. It is sure better than being snake food.

I am sure I will get used to the giggly children and Mrs. Carlson trying to calm them down. And where I live now is where I want to stay!!
