Behavior Management

If students receive a warning I will move their pin to yellow. Yellow means that the student has been given a warning and will lose 5 minutes of their recess. Red results when a student receives 2 warnings. At this point the student will miss out on 10 minutes of recess. The next warning will result in a conduct cut. Inappropriate behaviors continued beyond red will result in loss of all recess. Certain behaviors such as fighting require no warnings and could result in a conduct cut.

Snack and Lunch

We will have snack time every day except on Friday. Students may bring their own drinks or purchase milk. The cost of milk is 30 cents. Please send your money or check in an envelope and place it in the zipper pouch of your child’s red folder. If your child is going to drink milk, send in $1.20 for the week or $5.00 for the month. Please be sure to label the money milk money. Please send a snack with your child daily! It’s hard to concentrate when you are hungry! If you are willing, send in a few extra snacks that are individually wrapped. We will put these in a container for children that forgot theirs.

LUNCH MONEY AND MILK MONEY GO IN SEPARATE ACCOUNTS SO PLEASE PUT THEM IN SEPARATE ENVELOPES AND SEND SEPARATE CHECKS OR CASH.

The cost of lunch is $1.60. Please send it on Monday ($8.00) for the entire week or by the month. Place it in an envelope with your child’s name, the amount, and their lunch number.

Free and Reduced Lunch is $0.00 this year! You may want to send some money for the account so your child can purchase extra items if they are still hungry.

*We have an orange allergy on our team. Please be mindful of this when preparing your snacks for the day!
