General Outline of Study Programme

The Master Programme (120 ECTS) consists of the following parts:

Cumpolsory Courses (40 ECTS) Advanced Microeconomics, AdvancedMacroeconomics, Econometrics, Elements of Statistics and Econometrics

Elective Courses (50 ECTS) Applied Microeconometrics Using Stata,Monte Carlo Simulation Methods, Applied Time Series and Financial Eco-nometrics, Multivariate Statistics, Statistical Modeling, Experimental De-sign, Incentives in Organizations and Innovation, Political Economics, Öko-nomik des Wohlfahrtsstaates, Monetary Policy and the EMU, EuropeanEnergy Markets, European Environmental Economics, International La-bour Markets, European and World Trade, Industrial Organization, Empi-rical Labour Economics, Health Economics, Advanced Topics in EconomicAnalysis, and further courses o�ered in the M.Sc. Survey Statistics.

Research Project Research project in Survey Statistics or internship ino�cial or institutional statistcis.

Master Thesis (30 ECTS) Classical thesis or collaboration with Euro-stat, National Statistical Institutes (NSIs), Central Banks (e.g. ECB) orwithin research projects.
