BrochuresCreate an adventure ...ask class for help!

Examples: Centralia Shopping Mall Seattle Tourist Attractions

Ask Questions that require higher level thinking such as these examples that go with the shopping mall brochure.

"Gas is too expensive! How else could we get there?" Students will need to find the Amtrak information and give us the phone number. Or, "Where could I find a baby shower gift?" They would have to study the shops and direct me to Carters or a few others. They must provide proof or evidence that supports their answer.

Activity: Concept Attainment

Students are presented with a sequence of examples that are alike or different in some ways. They are asked to formulate a concept by making decisions about what attributes belong in what categories. Attributes lead to a hypotheses and then a definition of the concept.
