I have heard that your office excels in comparison to our peer institutions… and now I have personal experience to verify it! Thanks again for all you do for MSU students.” parent “Throughout my college career I never felt I needed much guidance until we started working on my resume, personal statement and supporting documents. You helped me discover how to put my Purpose in writing!” 2016 graduate “To you, our conversation was probably just one of many that you have with college students every day. To me, this completely changed my entire future career plan. Two weeks from now I’ll be moving to Boston and starting work as a journalism intern… I’m so ecstatic for this opportunity and for my future endeavors in this field and I owe much of this to you.” 2017 graduate “Thank you so much for the job search follow up. I will definitely look into those postings! It truly means a lot to me that you took the time to go out of your way and help me out. It really shows how much you care.” 2015 graduate “Your workshop was fantastic! I received a ton of great comments after and at our [weekly] session. As always, I really appreciate your help.” student organization president “Thank you for all of your help to get me jump- started on my career search. These answers are beyond helpful…” class of 2018 “I just wanted to send a huge THANK YOU your way for all of your help in my job search. The process seemed quite daunting at times and I really appreciated being able to rely on you for advice. I really enjoyed having you as my career advisor during my time at MSU and your help and support meant so much to me.” 2016 graduate “…thank you for speaking to our members about the resources available to us through [Career Services]. We now have a much better understanding about how to go about our job search, and have new knowledge of the many opportunities in our career path.” student organization president “I am very grateful for the advice you gave me about looking at job postings in order to get a better sense of whether I would enjoy a certain job. It seems obvious now, but before yesterday, I never would have thought of doing that.” class of 2019 ” I still think that the Career Passport is one of, if not the best publication by MSU for students. I’m adding a resume writing lecture as part of my class and our freshmen seminar course and [will] use them as a resource.” college instructor & internship coordinator
