Workshop efficiency The MTS 6513 has excellent pass-through performance due to its 312 MHz ARM processor and optimized software structure enables high speed ECU reprogramming. In addition, the VCI software facilitates secure immobilizer system reprogramming strategies. More than a pass-thru device – Embedded applications The Bosch MTS 6513 VCI includes an embedded runtime framework which enables the VCI to run embedded applications. This allows OEM’s to deploy embedded applications such as: drive recorder, parking lot re-flash (standalone re-flash), and diagnostic runtime as well as take advantage of the screen display and keyboard for the user to run the embedded applications without the need of a PC. Its 4 GB Micro SD-card can be used to store drive recorder log files, re-flash images, etc. Workshop flexibility – Embedded web-server An embedded web server supports external browser based display devices (e.g. smart phones) via HTML for an extended range of service bay use cases. Easy update management VCI firmware can be easily updated by the user via the VCI manager software. Additionally, FPGA technology allows for updating of the vehicle communications logic in the field. Compliant with SAE J2534 and ISO 22900 (MVCI) Supports worldwide legislated communication standards, with a wide range of supported protocols. Reliable support of CAN bus architecture The MTS 6513 allows CAN communication on Pins 6 & 14 with up to 1 M bit/sec.
