The vigil Sat 26th August at 7pm and Sunday 27th August at 11.45am in St. Maeldoíd’s will be celebrated for all those who are interred at St. Mary’s and parishioners are invited / encouraged to sprinkle Holy Water in blessing at their family plots during that weekend. The usual Rite of Blessing at St. Patrick’s cemetery, Oram will take place on Sunday 27th August at 9am Mass.

This is a 3 full day (2 overnight) diocesan event for 14 — 17year olds with live music, workshops and guest speakers. The cost is €195. Fun on the Green: Fun on the green is a fun programme from the C/blayney Faughs which is aimed at boys and girls from the ages of 4 to 8yrs. The programme will see the Club Coaches, Senior Players and County Star Dermot Malone coming to one of the local greens in the town to play
games with the young children in the area. Next Saturday 15th we will be in The Crescent Hill while on Saturday 29th July we will be in Drumillard, the programme will run from 4pm to 5pm on each of these dates.

1st Saturday Coffee Morning: A big thank you is extend-ed to all those who attended the 1st Saturday Coffee Morning on Saturday morning last.
