Flexibility essentially signifies the discovering of the possibilities of selection – new planning, extending, modernising or supplementing. The Müller system modules are not only mutually compatible but also fit in with already existing equipment, without difficulty.
Innovative techniques, developed for the latest document management solutions, the Com-pany of Müller Apparatebau is a specialised mechanical engineering firm in the docu-ment handling and processing industry. Müller components and systems have been in service throughout the world for 40 years.
In Kranzberg, Bavaria around 80 workforce members are permanently occupied with deve- loping and manufacturing tailor-made document logistics systems, and this with one hundred per-cent efficiency and quality.
A brief overview of the corporate history of Müller Apparatebau:
1965 – The launching of Müller Apparatebau by Mr. Manfred Müller for the production of docu-ment processing machines.1971 – Inauguration of the headquarters of the corporation for technical assembling and adminis-tration.1980 – Introduction of microprocessor techniques and CNC manufacturing equipment. The first Auto-
matic Forms Cutter was introduced to the market and was the core product of the Müller range for many years.1988 – Introduction of modular techniques. All components of the equipment became compa-tible with the assistance of a new communications interface.1999 – Removal to the present location inKranzberg, Bavaria.2002 – Production of the first Unwinder andRewinder.2003 – Development of the Müller InsertingSystem. The pilot project was installed at the ING-DiBa Banking Company.2007 – Build-up of collaborative activities withefficient marketing and sales agencies to enhance the market presence of the Müller equipment.2008 – First official appearance of Müller Appa-ratebau at the ‚drupa‘ Trade Fair in Dusseldorf, Germany and the first exhibition at the head- quarters in Kranzberg, Bavaria.2010 – Presentation of the new Inserting System Series 9000 at the IPEX Trade Fair in Birmingham, U.K.
