Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Build
Hands & Hearts (Building Houses, Changing Lives)
Mulberry UMC is joining Mercer University and several other interdenominational congregations from around Macon to build a home in
the historic Pleasant Hill Neighborhood this summer and we need your involvement & support.
What: Volunteer Workday (Landscaping) When: Saturday, August 3rd 8:00 – 12:00
Where: 2056 Sycamore Street, Macon, GA 31204
In addition to your hands, we need your financial support too! Mulberry UMC has committed to $5,000 in financial support.
If you would like to donate to this project, please make your check out to Mulberry Street UMC and put “Habitat” at the bottom of the check.

Come join us for our picnic at Amerson River Park on Sunday, July 21. We’ll gather at “The Bluffs,” our covered picnic area 2:30-7:00 p.m., and we plan to eat at 5:30 p.m. You
might bring a chair or quilt, as well as a snack or soft drinks to share. Hamburgers, hot dogs, lemonade, and water will be provided. No reservations are needed. There is no
charge for the picnic, but you will have the opportunity to make a donation. We encourage everyone to carpool to the picnic. Contact Betsy Abbott for more information.

Pew Cushions Individual pew cushions are now available for the sanctuary to be used by worshippers if needed. They are located in baskets, one in atrium and another in the vestibule located outside the door next to the ramp that leads to the pulpit area of the sanctuary.
There is a bucket in the atrium to receive donations for Daybreak.
911 Needs: canned fruit, creamer, reusable H2O bottles, lotion, insect repellent,
spray foot powder, large latex-free band-aids & combs
Nursing Volunteers Needed If you are a nurse, former nurse, LPN or nurse practitioner and would love to
serve Daybreak in assisting with clinic needs, we are looking for 5-10 hours per week. Please email us: [email protected] with your name, contact

week. These events will run Monday through Thursday, and will consist of morning/afternoon events. On Thursday we will take a group to Wild Adventures! The cost of the trip will be reduced for every event you participate in throughout the week.

Pathways Training Event 2019 Set for August 24 Churches looking for new ideas, networking opportunities and practical, quality training for their pastors, parishioners, staff, and leaders need look no further than this year’s Pathways leadership training event.
Scheduled for Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Warner Robins, the training event will offer participants more than 30 workshops to choose from, each designed to help congregations become healthier and to fulfill the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ.
