•Multimedia playback

•Data packetization & reconstruction

•Communication to server to maintain the RSW control criteria.

•Listen to specified ports for Audio/Video packets

•Change to Audio/Video UDP unicast and transmit out.

MLIC in the destination LAN does:

•Data packetization & reconstruction

•Communication to server to maintain the RSW control criteria.

•Compress Audio/Video data and transmit via router interface.

•Receive compressed Audio/Video UDP unicast from router interface.

•Uncompress Audio/Video data and transmit via LAN interface.

• All other miscellaneous network packets arriving at both interfaces are transparently forwarded to the opposite interface
