The act of murmuring: the utterance of low continuous sounds or complaining noises. 2. Of Starlings: a flock The video presented Anniversary Sunday morning during our Bible class was a murrmuration of starlings. You can view the video on YouTube and it is called “Amazing Starlings”. During the winter months, it is not unusual to see a murmuration of starlings. It is amazing to watch as hundreds or thousands of individual starlings fly as one in perfect harmony. Scientist are baffled as to what causes these birds to move in perfect harmony with one another. They are being what God made them to be. They are doing as God designed them to do. The perfect example of individual parts functioning and working as one is the body. It is the body which the Holy Spirit selects as an illustration of the harmony and unity with which the church or the body of Christ should function. The unity of the physical body is only possible because of its connection to the head. The same is true of Jesus’ spiritual body. We move with unity and purpose when we move in response to our head, Jesus. As we individually respond to the will and words of Jesus, His body, the church, moves in the unity He designed. The closer we each get to Him, the closer we get to one another. -Dewayne

Murmuration

Ever heard of “murmuration”? According to Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary it means:

1. The act of murmuring: the utterance of low continuous sounds or complaining noises. 2. Of Starlings: a flock

The video presented Anniversary Sunday morning during our Bible class was a murrmuration of starlings. You can view the video on YouTube and it is called “Amazing Starlings”. During the winter months, it is not unusual to see a murmuration of starlings. It is amazing to watch as hundreds or thousands of individual starlings fly as one in perfect harmony. Unity

Philippians 2:3-5 What can we accomplish when we work together? Think of it as a team. There is so much that goes on in sports, much more than just guys throwing a ball, catching a ball, kicking a ball or hitting a ball. All of the team has to be in unison in order to accomplish the goal, which is to win! Unity allows different individuals and personalities to mesh and mix in order to succeed as a group. They still have their same personalities. They are still the same people, but when they combine together, they can accomplish so much more than they could individually. God wants the church to work the same way. He chose all of us and put us together in one place called the church, so that we could accomplish his will. Individually each of us can only do so much, and we are going to get tired. If we work in unison and as a team, we can accomplish God's will on earth. Let's serve the church together. Let's build one another up and let's bring many of God's children back to the fold. - David
