Morning Tea: A friendly reminder to parents/caregivers that we have a morning tea every Wednesday from 10.30 a.m. to 1 pm in the Family Support room. Please visit us.

Financial Counselling: We have a visiting financial counsellor, Taga Iose from Salvation Amy who can provide free financial counselling to families in Murri School community. Appoint-ments can be organised through Family Support.

Prep Class Rainbow Restaurant with Yr 5 Buddies: Every Thursday, the Prep Class meets with their Yr 5 Bud-

dies and do phonic related, rotational activities. The Buddies create a worksheet each week during their computer session, for the youngers ones to complete. Last week, the Preps learnt about phonic sound 'Rr' . The students set up a restaurant on Friday where they all took turns in role-playing being customers and waiters. It was fantastic and the staff enjoyed it too. From : Ms Kathy

Fraser Island is recognised as the largest sand island in the world. It was World Heritage listed in 1992. The Butchulla people are the indigenous people of Fraser Is-

land. The Butchulla people's traditional name for Fraser Island was K'gari which means paradise.
