Museo dell’Arte del CappelloGHIFFAIl Museo è allestito in ambienti dell’ex cappellificio Panizza fon-dato nel 1881 e attivo fino al 1981 nella produzione di cappelliin feltro di pelo fine. Il percorso racconta, attraverso documentie immagini d’epoca, la storia e l’attività del cappellificio, espo-nendo antichi attrezzi per la lavorazione artigianale dei cappel-li in feltro e numerosi macchinari storici, campionari di cappel-li, manifesti pubblicitari e marchi di fabbrica. I cappelli dellaproduzione Panizza sono affiancati da spiegazioni relative aisegreti della feltrazione, da una selezione di cappelli di varieepoche e dalla collezione di copricapo etnici “Vittorio Fesce”.

Hat Museum - Ghiffa
The Hat Museum is hosted in one of the buildings that used to be the oldand glorious Panizza hat factory, founded in 1881, which was specialisedin fine felt hats and has worked until 1981. In 1994 equipments and tools,together with a rich collection of hats, video and photographic docu-ments, have been displayed in a Museum that illustrates one of the mostoriginal handicraft traditions of Alto Verbano. Beside Panizza hats, thereare explanations about felting process, a selection of historical hats and acollection of ethnic hats coming from all over the World.
Museum der Hutmacherkunst - Ghiffa
Das Museum, eingerichtet in der ehemaligen Hutfabrik Panizza, erzähltanhand von Dokumenten und Bildern aus der Epoche die Geschichte unddas Wirken des Hutmachers in Ghiffa und anderen Hutfabriken dieserGegend. Ausgestellt sind antike Gerätschaften der handwerklichenHerstellung von Filzhüten, Hutmuster, Werbematerial und Fabrikations-marken der Hutfabrik Panizza, Hüte der Panizza Produktion, Seite an Seitemit einer Hutauswahl verschiedener Epochen, die durch die Sammlungvolkstümlicher Kopfbedeckungen „Vittorio Fesce” ergänzte werden.

Museo Etnografico e della Spazzola Parco degli Agrumi CANNERO RIVIERAIl museo è nato nel 1981 per iniziativa dei ragazzi e dei docenti delle Scuole Medie, iquali, con l’aiuto delle famiglie, hanno raccolto numerosi oggetti della tradizione loca-le. I materiali esposti delineano la storia passata di Cannero, propongono la ricostru-zione di una vecchia cucina e delle attività domestiche di un tempo e illustrano imestieri tradizionali dall’artigianato (legno, ferro), all’agricoltura, all’allevamento ealla pesca e, da ultimo, la fabbricazione industriale delle spazzole, che caratterizzòl’economia cannerese nella prima metà del Novecento.La proposta di visita è completata dai percorsi all’aperto alla scoperta del torchiosettecentesco e della “grà” di Oggiogno e, dal 2011, dal Parco degli Agrumi rea-lizzato con la collaborazione del Dipartimento di colture arboree dell’Universitàdi Torino per preservare i tesori botanici del territorio.

Ethnografic and Brush Museum - Citrus Park
Cannero Riviera
The museum, established in 1981, was an effort of the pupils of Cannero Middle School.The kids, helped by the teachers and families, gathered all the displayed objects from thepeople of the town. The museum illustrates the history and everday life of Cannero in thepast, from domestic activities to traditional crafts. The last section focuses on the indu-stry that characterised Cannero in 19th and 20th century: the brush manifacturing. In Cannero the visitors can also enjoy the paths to the ancient village of Oggiogno, witha 18th century winepress and a traditional chestnut-drying house, and the Citrus Parkset up with the scientific supervision of the Agricultural Department of the TurinUniversity to recover the local botanical biodiversity.

Das Museum wurde 1981 auf Initiative der Schüler und Lehrer der Mittelschule gegründet,die mit Hilfe ihrer Familien zahlreiche Gegenstände lokaler Traditionen gesammelt haben.Die Ausstellungsstücke erzählen die Vergangenheit von Cannero, zeigen eine alte Küche unddie häuslichen Tätigkeiten vergangener Zeiten. Sie illustrieren die traditionellenHandwerksberufe wie Schreiner, Schmied, Schuhmacher, und landwirtschaftlicheTätigkeiten wie Viehzucht und Fischerei und die industrielle Bürstenfabrikation, welche dieWirtschaft Canneros in der ersten Hälfte des neunzehnten Jahrhunderts geprägt haben.Der Besuch kann man komplettieren durch Spaziergänge zur Besichtigung derWeinpresse aus dem achtzehnten Jahrhundert und des „grà“ (Kastanien-DörrHäuschen) in Oggiogno. Seit 2011 gibt es nun den Zitrusfrüchte Park, welcher unterMithilfe des Department für Baumkulturen der Universität Turin geschaffen wurde,um die botanischen Schätze des Territoriums zu erhalten.

Museo tattile di Scienze Naturalidel lago e della montagnaTRAREGO VIGGIONA
Il museo racconta le principali peculiarità naturalistiche eambientali presenti sul territorio: la fruibilità è favoritadalla possibilità di toccare tutti i materiali esposti, piantevive e animali naturalizzati. Il percorso si articola in diversidiorami che ricostruiscono l’ambiente rurale, l’alta monta-gna e le rocce, la foresta di conifere, il bosco e il cannetolacustre. Il gufo è la mascotte del museo, che si presta a unachiave di lettura legata alle finalità del percorso: è, infatti,un uccello che si muove nella notte, in condizioni in cui lavista è messa in difficoltà, a vantaggio degli altri sensi.

Tactile Museum of Natural Sciences of the lake
and mountains - Trarego Viggiona
This museum illustrates the main naturalistic peculiarities of the territo-ry: the visit is enriched by the chance to touch all the displayed objects,including plants and animals. The exhibition itinerary includes severaldioramas that reproduce rural environment, high mountain and rocks, theconiferous forest, woods and canebrakes. The owl is the museum’smascot: it’s an animal that hunts in the night, a condition in which sightis put apart in favour of other senses.
Tast-Museum der Naturwissenschaften des Sees
und der Berge - Trarego Viggiona
Die Ausstellung illustriert „fühlbar“ die Welt des Sees und der Berge mit-tels mit verschiedenen Materialien ausgestatteten Dioramen. Man kannlebende Pflanzen und naturalisierte Tiere, natürliche Gegenstände undElemente wie Gestein, Früchte, Beeren, Baumstämme, Nester, Blätterertasten. Die verschiedenen Welten sind: die Alpe, die Imkerei, dasHochgebirge, der Nadelwald, der Mischwald, das Seeröhricht. Neben denTasterlebnissen gibt es auch Riecherlebnisse mit Tonhintergrund aus derNatur und der Tierwelt.

Palazzo Parasi CANNOBIOEdificato nel 1291 a ridosso della torre Comunale, il Palazzo della Ragione detto “Parasi”,è un possente edificio medievale il cui portico con volte a botte, conserva due sarcofagiromani del III e IV secolo d.C., lapidi, rilievi e stemmi del XIV secolo. Il restauro integra-le effettuato tra il 2012 e il 2014 ha conferito nuovo valore al Palazzo mantenendo la suaforte e marcata identità storica. Oggi il “Parasi” ospita nel porticato del piano terra, giàantica sede del “Banco di Giustizia”, l’ufficio di accoglienza turistica; ai piani rialzati offrenuovi e moderni spazi espositivi idonei ad accogliere mostre, conferenze ed eventi, rap-presentando così per la comunità il “Centro della Cultura”.

Palace “Parasi” - Cannobio
Built in 1291 next to the council tower, the “Palazzo della Ragione”, also known as“Parasi”, is a powerful medieval building whose porch of barrel vaults conservedtwo Romans sarcophagi from the third and fourth centuries AD, gravestones, reliefsand coats of arms from the XIV century.The complete restoration between 2012 and 2014 has given a new value to thepalace, maintaining its strong and noted historical identity. Today the ground floorof “Il Parasi”, that was the “Old Courthouse”, is home of the Tourist Office. On theupper floors it offers new and modern spaces suitable for exhibitions, conferencesand various events. The Parasi represents a “Cultural Centre” for the community.

Erbaut 1291 direkt neben dem Glockenturm „Palazzo della Ragione“ genannt“Parasi” ist ein imposantes Gebäude mit runden Decken, in denen sich zwei römischeSarkophage aus dem 3. und 4. Jahrhundert n.Chr. und viele antike Reliefs befinden.Zwischen 2012 und 2014 komplett restauriert, wurde jedoch die antike Identität undGeschichte beibehalten. Heute beherbergt das “Parasi” im Erdgeschoss - einst dasantike Gerichtsgebäude - das Touristikbüro und im 1° und 2° StockAusstellungsräume für Künstler, Konferenzen und Events. Das “Parasi” repräsentiertfür die Gemeinde das Kulturzentrum.

Espressione del costume e della cultura popolare dell’intera ValleCannobina, Gurro conserva ancora oggi un antico centro storico conabitazioni in pietra dalle grandi logge di legno, strette le une allealtre, e piccole vie che attraversano il nucleo abitato.Al centro del vecchio borgo ha sede il Museo etnografico diGurro e della Valle Cannobina, un vero e proprio spaccato dellavita di un tempo. Abiti, pizzi, giocattoli, vasellame e numerosis-simi attrezzi da lavoro realizzati in legno testimoniano una civil-tà prevalentemente rurale e agricola. Essendo Gurro un paesenoto, in tutto il territorio, per la lavorazione della canapa e dellalana non mancano nel museo i tradizionali strumenti di filatu-ra, il telaio per la tessitura e gli strumenti per la pettinatura.

Gurro and Cannobina Valley Folk Museum - Gurro
The village of Gurro typifies the customs and popular culture of the CannobinaValley, with its ancient historic centre of narrow streets threading through huddlesof stone houses with large wooden loggias.The Cannobina Valley Folk Museum is in the centre of the old part of the village,and provides a window onto the life of the past. An essentially rural and agricultu-ral way of life is illustrated in the display of clothes, lace, toys, crockery and a hugerange of wooden tools. Gurro was famous in the area for the production of goodsmade of hemp and wool, so the museum’s exhibits include traditional spinningwheels, weaving looms and combing implements.
Ethnografisches Museum Gurro und Cannobina Tal
Dicht gedrängte Steinhäuser mit ausladenden Holzbalkonen und kleine Gassen, diedas gesamte Dorf durchziehen: Gurros historischer Ortskern verkörpert das Brauchtumund die Volkskultur des gesamten Cannobina-Tals auf hervorragende Weise. Das Ethnografische Museum des Valle Cannobina hat seinen Sitz im Zentrum desalten Dorfs: Kleider, Spitzen, Spielzeug, Keramik sowie zahlreiche Arbeitswerk-zeuge aus Holz belegen eine überwiegend landwirtschaftlich geprägte Kultur undbieten einen umfassenden Einblick in das Leben von einst. Da Gurro darüber hinausebenso für seine Hanf- und Wollverarbeitung bekannt ist, sind im Museum natür-lich auch Traditionswerkzeuge wie Spinnräder, Webstühle und Kämmgeräteausgestellt.

La piccola frazione di Lunecco ospita il centro di documentazio-ne dell’Ecomuseo del Lago e dei Monti, che conserva oggetti edocumenti che parlano della vita quotidiana degli abitanti dellaValle. Sono ricostruiti ambienti quali l’abitazione e l’osteria.Particolare attenzione è dedicata al patrimonio religioso e aifenomeni del contrabbando e dell’emigrazione.Fa parte del percorso la mostra etnografica “Al femin d’inval”, dedicata ai vari aspetti della vita quotidiana del mondofemminile in Valle Cannobina fino alla metà del XX secolo. Ilcentro di Lunecco svolge inoltre funzioni di informazione eaccoglienza turistica.

Infopoint Lake and Mountain Ecomuseum -

The small hamlet of Lunecco houses the infopoint of the Lake and MountainEcomuseum, that displays objects and documents about the daily life of the inha-bitants of the Valley. There are reconstructions of the old house and the old inn.Particular attention is given to the religious heritage and to the smuggling andmigration phenomena. There is also the ethnographic exhibition “Al femin d’inval” (Women of the Valley), dedicated to the daily life of women in CannobinaValley in the past. The Lunecco infopoint is also a tourist information office.
Heimatmuseum des Sees und der Berge - Lunecco

Der kleine Ortsteil Lunecco beherbergt das Heimatmuseum des Sees und derBerge, in welchem Gegenstände und Dokumente ausgestellt werden, die dastägliche Leben der Talbewohner beschreiben: es wurden ein altes Haus und einealte Osteria wieder zum Leben erweckt. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wurde demreligiösen Erbe und der Zeit der Schmuggler und der Emigration gewidmet. Teil des Museums ist auch die ethnografische Ausstellung „Al femin d’in val“ (DieFrauen des Tales), den verschiedenen Aspekten des täglichen Frauenlebens imCannobina Tal bis zur Hälfte des XX Jahrhunderts gewidmet. Im Heimatsmuseumbefindet sich zudem ein Touristen- Informationszentrum.
